Dandy Mandy/Sheeri Rappaport Pic/Discussion Thread.

Hey guys, I'm trying to keep the Mandy/Nick ship thread going? So I posed a Halloween question in there.

 

So we won't have any Mandy for the time being. Hopefully, she'll be bahk!

 

Yeah! I hope we get to see her before Grissom leaves. I always remember that episode where Mandy found Grissom's print on the evidence, and she was being all polite and stuff. It was cute

 

I don't think TPTB realizes how many fans she's got which is why I started this thread. I'm hoping some of them are on this site (which I doubt), but you never know.

Well, Sheeri being on tour with the USO in the Balkans in 2000 explains why she wasn't on the show that much.

She sounds like such an inspiring woman - I wonder if she still writes?

Also, do we know if she's married, seeing anyone, a parent, what?

 

She looked great in Art Imitates Life. Nice scene with Grissom.

I thought i was an oddball for being a mandy fan considering how little screen time she gets. Nice to know i'm not alone, i love her personality on the show, its so different from anyone else on there yet she gets a tiny amount of screentime even compared to the other labrats.

The 9th season is starting off positively though, i don't think i would have forgiven them if the labrats weren't included at all in the mourning buisness. They did a good job of including everyone in my opinion.

I'm liking the enclusion of labrats so far, archie and hodges have good scenes and mandy did a great job getting that print off the bullet. That scene on 'for warrick' where bobby and henry are trying to comfort a crying mandy when grissom walked past brought tears to my eyes. I'm hoping the upped screentime continues and we get to learn more about the elusive mandy.

 

Proves how good an actress she is if can generate positive reaction. She makes the most of the little time she gets.

I'm hoping a thread like this gets noticed by any of TPTB who circulate the site and gives them some momentum to write some more scenes with her.

And pair her with...Nick..but we have a Shipper Thread for that as well!

 

I think her and Nick would make such a great couple, but that's for another thread

I love Mandy, and I think she has so much potential and if tptb gave her more screentime, we'd have even more fun with her.

I think it would be very interesting to see Mandy actually at a scene. Not as a CSI, but it would be interesting.

 

Sheeri is great. I have loved her since NYPD Blue. I thought that that bit in You Kill Me with the pop tart was adorable.

 

Great scene with Nick with our girl Mandy! Yeah.

Now we won't see her for a bit. Hopefully, she'll be back!

 

Okay it is that time again to remind folks about the ship discussion rule, something we do to refresh the regular members and help out the newest ones to. Now before anyone says, well why are you posting this in here and not in other threads, its the roundup and therefore this will be posted in all actor/actress/character threads.

So here is how it goes, any and all ship discussions should be done in the respective threads in the Shipper Central forum, the only time that any ship discussion should be discussed in the LV forum is when it pertains to a specific episode, in which case it would go into either said episode discussion thread or the lab. Causal mention of a ship is fine as long as it is not used to dominate a discussion as there are some folks who are not shippers, or some who ship different characters. If you need to make a small point using a part of scene from a ship moment that is fine but again do not let it dominate, if it pushes the limit then we will not hesitate to remind you of the rule.

The one strict rule that the board has and one in which we will halt is the shipping of real life actors/actresses of the show this is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Shipping characters is one thing, but what happens in the actors/actresses real life is off limits unless it is something that they acknowledge via media (ie interviews, etc) and then we ask that it not be expanded upon but kept to that which is made public.
