Me too....I think we should get a goodbye kiss on ET, if we don't get one on the show. They're long overdue for their 'annual kiss' on there.

Well let's start posting and set this thread on fire.:lol: We definately have to use something from the article. It's just too good not to. I like your suggestion GNRfan....or maybe something like "long overdue for a roll in the sack" or "how 'bout that roll in the sack"...can you tell what my favorite part of the article was?:lol:

Hello everyone! It's been awhile.

I had kind of forgotten about CSI... UNTIL I SAW THE MAGAZINE COVER OF THE TV GUIDE. It's seriously the best cover ever, and although TPTB deny our lovely ship, knowing that Billy & Marg know where we're coming from really makes me happy. :] I hope we get more GC pics, too.

Honestly though, I'm not expecting to get much out of Grissom's remaining episodes in terms of Cath/Gil friendship or anything. Oh well. It's better off being left to the imagination anyway.

 

I think I'd have to agree with you, purejoylove (long time no see!).

Although we're totally going to be hyped about it, we're just going to be disappointed. But being the ultimate optimist that I am, I'm still going to hope that they won't disappoint us too too much. =P

Let's just hope that the optimism is contagious and will be transferred from the East Coast to LA. ;P

 

I was the same, now I wanna get back into it, ignored the past two seasons. It looks like the pics have just dragged us all out of the CSI closet it lol. And yes, more GC pics would just be the cherry on top of the GCR cake, hmmm, GCR + cake...*whistles*

Well not saying too much but TPTB prooved that. I know quite a lot of "the other team" and not too many of them were overly happy about how it all panned out. Imagination and fics are usually better because we can make them do whatever the hell we want them to

ITA, we're gonna be mighty dissapointed because it's obvious which way it's gonna go but after reading that article and drooling over those pics, I could care less. Those pics/vids/article will/are hotter than anything they'll show on CSI. MAJOR WIN!

Oh wow... I haven't been in here in forever.

I was rewatching some episodes, and Gil/Cath is still my OTP in the CSI fandom. It was really evident in that one episode where Eddie (Eddy? I don't know, it's Cath's ex) pushed her against the wall (or something similar?) and then Gil saw and all hell broke loose. Sure, 'they're just friends, GHADKFJASDK~' but... I see that as looooove.


Subtext is better than actual text, amiright? 8D

 

^Oh yeah, Too Tough Too Die...great episode. Gil was so ready to knock him out if Cath would have gave him the go ahead and who could forget the famous line, "I always knew you two had a thing." I just wish they would have showed a scene where Gil made sure Cath was ok. At least we have our imaginations on what happened.:devil:

Another episode I really love is Pledging Mr. Johnson. It had it all, working the case, talking, fighting, making up, the boat scene.:adore: Just good emotional G/Cness and one of my favs.

Oh, I thought of another possible title. How about Ready For A Tequila Holiday?:lol:

Ah I see that the interview has made a lot of people feel nostalgic. That's a good thing. We don't get to talk about how great they are together very much after all, since a canon ship was set on this show. Although I feel used for getting excited about the show maybe just to be disappointed again, I still can't help but love that interview. Just like I said earlier, they can end Gil's part however they want. I already got my perfect ending in this interview --Gil and Cath rolling in a sack...erm I mean Gil going to Mexico and coming back to take Cath with him. The bonus is to see so many oldies drawn back to this ship by the interview. *waves*

Too Tough to Die will always rank high on the list of my all-time favorite CSI episodes. Not just because it was the episode where Gil was totally ready to handle Eddie for Catherine but because of Eddie's "I always knew you two had a thing." Wait, think this might make a thread title, too?

 

I just read the CSI article and I am finding myself exited for the premier! I haven't been so excited about CSI since...since...I can't even remember when. I've been so disheartened with the show that I really just stopped posting here and even thinking about CSI in fanfics and what not. God, I just feel so happy after seeing the TVguide. So so happy.

I get the feeling that if Catherine and Gil had sex in his final episode there would be a lot of GC-related ailments...jaw-dropping, swooning, eyes burning for the amazing chemistry...just to name a few.

You know what yould be a really good line for that final episode? A really great line?

Catherine: I can't believe you're actually leaving.
Gil: Don't worry, Sweetie. We'll always have Mexico. Tequilla shots?
Catherine: *smiles and takes him by the hand*
screen fades to black.

 

You just totally summed up how I feel. I'm back at uni and left all my CSI dvd's at home because I didn't think I'd want to watch them again, and then they did this and I'm pining!

Erica, that is one of my fav ever moments, I love it so, so, so damn much. I've been abusing that clip on YouTube the last couple of days. Oh, you guys might be able to help me actually, seen as I haven't watched CSI in forever, I've forgot what episode this came from so if you could help?
