    Re: Paul/Brass #2

There were rumors around the end of S6, mostly because there was that very weak attempt to make fans think Brass might not survive getting shot and he'd done an interview a year earlier where he talked about life after CSI. His interview comments were taken completely out of context by people who probably didn't read the entire interview.

There might have been some concern this season because we heard nothing about him re-signing until Nina Tassler mentioned it. However, we rarely hear anything about Paul so not knowing didn't come as much of a surprise. We still don't know for how long he signed though. He has a bi-coastal commute that he's done for 8 years. I'm sure he's getting tired of it but I could see him sticking it out until at least S10.

Btw, Laurence Fishburne will have that same bi-coastal commute as he also lives in NY.

    ^^

And in an interview a couple of years ago, he mentioned that he would "like to see double figures" in terms of seasons. I don't like not knowing how long he signed on for though. But glad to have him back for this season though.

Yeah couldn't agree more. I'm also ecstatic to see Paul back for season 9. I watched the extended promo and I have to say that Paul is smoking hot in the t-shirt and Kevlar vest. Well, he's just smoking hot period but he looks fitter than ever and I can't wait to see him in the new season. And thank God for DVD's and re-runs on TV or I'd be going through Brass withdrawls... LOL.

You're right about the DVD thing, I don't know what I would do either! This season seems to be taking forever to get here and matters don't help any when the season isn't starting until freakin' October.

Maybe they are reading our requests for him to wear something other than a suit! I was like, holy hell!, he has a black t-shirt on! It is "arm porn" as beaujolais would say!

Glad to see you back brassfan24 !

I forgot that TV Land is having a CSI marathon tonight so imagine my very pleasant surprise when I hear Brass's voice from the TV in the other room say "Las Vegas Police, open up!".

They are only showing three episodes in this so-called "marathon" but one of them is Loco Motives. The scenes with Brass and Max definitely make that one worth watching. Not to mention we get a rare shot of jacketless Jim at the beginning.

I think if Brass said Las Vegas Police, open up, most of us would be opening up real quick, right?

You're damn right, I'd open the door real quick! But not because he's police, it's because of him! Hello!

Absolutely, especially if he's pointing his big gun.

I absolutly love this man! He is so cool and just awsome

I have to admit that I didn't really like him in the beginning of the first season cause he was so mean towards almost everyone. But towards the end on season 1 i started to like him more and more and now I love him too. :)

I have one thing to say about PG-that man can bring me to tears with his performances almost as much as George can. Ellie, Hollywood Brass, and A Bullet Runs Through It 2-holy cow that guy can cry..

If there Emmys for best criers in drama-Paul and George would tie that one..then they'd go on the stage and cry together..

The writers give him the best lines ever. When I watch episodes that are already TiVo's I rewind them to just to hear Brass lines. Too funny!

Question, ya'll, and I'm sure the folks here will be glad to answer me. :) I'm in the middle of a 16 hour shift at work and to sure the boredom I've been looking at IMDB. Which of Paul's movies would ya'll recommend? I don't care for Mrs. Doubtfire (that's a lot of movie to watch for a few seconds of air time). And feel free to tell me whether the movie is something I shouldn't have on when my nice-ultra-conservative-over-protective-doesn't-really-need-to-know-who-his-daughter-drools-over father is home. *rolls eyes* He likes to watch tv with me.

*why doesn't my sig show up?!*

If you want action, go for Air Force One. If you're in a political mood, Primary Colors, but if you want to see Paul completely exercise his acting range in something that will not remind you of Brass at all, go for A Question of Faith. It's one of my favorite PG movies and it's got a "hey, it's that guy" cast. Plus, PG is in it a whole lot--and he doesn't die.

Going off topic for a moment.
You mean like it is now? All I did was edit and check the box that says "Show your signature", and there it was.

Also you might want to make sure it is ticked in your user section. Go to the top of the forum click "User Cp" then "Edit Options" go down "Thread Display Options" and check mark "Show signature". Also I would recommend on the link part using the url linkable which is easy just do the following but take out the spaces between the bracket and the letter U and the bracket and the slash /

[ url=http://www.buddytv.com/closedquiz/im...ts/csi-jim.jpg]I answered the questions honestly[ /url]

Doing the link like shown above will shorten your sig so as not to stretch the screen. Also I don't know if you are trying to link to the actual quiz or the picture that shows when you click the link. If you are trying for the pic to show up in your sig then be alert of the rule on signatures (found in the "help guide" at the top of this forum see "Avatars/banners") as well as the hotlink rule.

    Hopefully this helps :)

Too. Much. Information. OVERLOAD!!!!! :D Let me try this again later. I got home late from work last night, got up early today, and in 30 minutes will go home. My brain isn't processing at the moment. (Caffeine only does so much.)

At least it was a slow day.....I was really productive. Scanned all 33 pages for movie references! ;) That'll give the guys at the movie store something to do. Think they'll notice a theme? Thanks for the indiv. referrals. I saw some of them on ebay.
