The photos of the day!

Sara, for some reason, I'm not able to see your pics, everytime I click on one it comes up "Internet explorer cannot display page"... :(

That's odd, I just clicked to check and didn't have an issue. Perhaps Photobucket was having a moent earlier. Try again in a while. :)
Photobucket, was being really weird on me last night... I can see it, now. :D

Wolfesgamergirl:

+ I really like the steep angle of the shot and how the clouds are reflected on the window, it looks great. :D
- I know, it probably couldn't have been helped, but the shadow on the left wall, is a little distracting, aside of that, fabulous pic.

Pollan Beach, Co. Donegal, Ireland.

+ I really like how you captured the action of the waves in the background, as well as the calmness in the front.
- Try upping the contrast a bit and the colors will pop. There is also a bit too much sky, keep the rule of thirds in mine when taking these kind of photos.

Wolfesgamergirl:

Wow!! Amazing pic!! :D I love it.

+ I really like the angle the pic has been taken from, it looks fantastic. The colours also really pop. Well done.
- Nothing really, but at the very bottom of the pic, there is a white patch on the tree trunk, it's a little distracting, maybe it could be cropped out...

An Aston Martin, V8 Vantage - What a beautiful car.

+ The angle really works to capture the whole front end of the car.
- The person on the left in the back, and trust me I know it's hard to take photos in crowds, is a bit distracting.

Another glass sculpture photo.

Wow it has been a long time, where is everyone?

Wolfsgamergirl
+ Beautiful set up. Great colors.
- Watch that focus.

From my trip to Fairbanks, Alaska a few days ago. There were Wild Roses and Blue Bells every where. I took so many pictures of the wild roses. I was in Alaska for my sister's wedding incidentally my sister's name is "Rose" it was kind of funny.

+ The placement of the flowers works well to keep the flow around the photo.
- The colors could use a bit of upping.

This is a more recent picture of my mom's coworker's daughter, Ella. Can you tell what college football team her daddy wants her to root for?

+ The coloring is very nice. And the fact that Sofi isn't looking towards the camera works well.
- The composition is very cluttered. All the legs on the same plane as the subject tend to makes the eye unable to focus on one spot. I know cats are fidigity when the camera comes out, but try to take one with less things in the way, that way Sofi will be in all her glory.

Photo from inside the Art Museum in Milwaukee.

I went on a little casino cruise off the coast and took this photo at sunset from the ship.

Um..I don't want to sound like a rules crazy person...but we're supposed to be critiquiing the photo above the post we're making...otherwise it's going to become one big spam fest in here.

+ Very nice use of the rule of thirds, keeps everything in line.
- There's too much sky and too much water; this pulls the eye away from the intended focus. Also there is a bit of grainyness to the photo, I don't know if you're aware or not, but just a heads up. :)

Since no one commented on this before, I'll try again.

Oh I did not realize we had to critique photos on this thread. I was thinking this was a thread just to post photos for fun. I won't do that again.

Wolfesgamergirl:

+ Awesome shot, I love how you can see the reflection of the window on the floor. Looks great.
- Maybe a little closer cropping at the top would help focus your attention on the window. Aside of that great shot!!

The Disney Castle and Main Street USA at Disneyland Paris:

Adorable_Crazy
+ The focus on the castle works pretty well and you fixed well in the center. And besides the coloring in the lower half is awesome.
- Uhmm that's hard; there something no one can blame you for: The sky is a little bit too grey and I think those Disney-Guys put too many '15-years-Disneyland-flags'.
But I love the pic! Very well done. You know what's weird? I took almost the same pic when I was in Paris some weeks ago. Talking about Paris:
La Tour Eiffel
