Stella: Did some research on the Hydra.

Oh, I've heard all three of those, AND THEY ARE JUST HILARIOUS!!!! I love the priceless one... I laughed so hard when I saw the episode. I can't remember what episode the last quote is from.. I've seen it. It was just funny. The first one... Trump Tower... oh, that one episode... I can't remember the name of it either. If only I could remember half the episode's I've watched in my short time of about a month of watching NY... All the quotes are from Season 3 I believe.. that's how I've seen them. Well, always an insight to lovely episodes.

I would have more quotes, but I can't think of any that haven't been taken all ready.... :)

Hi Claire! All of them belong to 3.04 "Hung out to dry". Since i'm not an English speaker fan most of my quotes are found in wikipedia after a research in Google. I hope that helps! :D

Another one from "Open and Shut" 3.06

Sid: (about the impaled hotel concierge) When I was an intern they brought in a guy who had fallen off a loading dock onto a container of steel reinforcement rods- talk about a thousand points of light.
Mac: Ehmm, Sid, I’m sure that’s all fascinating, but I’m kind of jammed up with this today

Thanks, I tried my best. :)
    Here are some more.

[Stella has just won a bet that she and Mac made on the outcome of the dog show]
    Mac:
You're going to make me pay?
    Stella
: Yeah, I'm going to make you pay.
    Mac
: I thought you were kidding.
    Stella
: Some days you're the dog, some days you're the hydrant.

    Aiden
: Well, too bad birds can't talk because there's a robin's nest like twelve feet away.
    Danny
    : Bird's eye view.
    Aiden
: [laughing] You had to say it, right?
    Danny
: What are ya gonna do?

[Stella sees a Derek Jeter bobblehead on the dashboard of an SUV she and Mac are processing]

    Stella
: Who is that on the dashboard? Mickey Mantle?
    Mac
: Looks kind of like Derek Jeter.
    Stella
: Derek Jeter from the Yankees, right?
    Mac
    : Yeah.
    Stella
: Didn't they get beat by Boston or something?
    Mac
: We were up three to zero and then we got swept. But we're trying to forget that.
    Stella
:I'm not much into baseball, but A-Rod's kind of hot. :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw:

    Flack
    : Mac?
    Mac
    : What?
    Flack
: If it was his son...
    Mac
: Flack, I need your head on straight.
    Flack
    : It is.

    Mac
: The stereotype is kids run away to join the circus. Where do kids already in the circus go?
    Stella
    : Apparently the elephant enclosure.

    Mac
: It could happen to you, you know.
    Danny
    : What, marriage?
    Mac
    : Love.
    Danny
: Don't even joke about that Mac, it's not funny.

    Aiden
: [gruffly] Show me your hands.
    suspect
    : what's the magic word?
    Aiden
    : Hands.

    Okay, more come later. :D

These are all from "Run Silent, Run Deep" (I was watching it last night for fun... hehe)

[in the hotel room, checking out the scene]
Stella: "And my personal favorite...Lapur underwear. These babies go for $350."
    Danny: "I get my DVD's in a 3 pack for $10."

    Sid: "Anything else?"
    [Stella pauses, contemplating]
Stella: "Yeah. I''' take those ribs to go, please."

Mac: "Ask them not to make a spetical of the head line."
Adam: "It's New York Weekly..." [Adam fades at Mac's look]
Adam: "I'll give it my best try."

I thought those hilarious... it is funnier when watching the actual episode though... hehe...

I love this thread! Most quotes are really bright.

It's not Lapur but La Perla underwear. :) And indeed, it is expensive.

SOrry, I had no clue how to spell it, let alone know the real saying. Yeah, they are expensive... not that I would care nor really know, except for NY telling me!

What's so bad about that is that they were thongs. Why in the world someone would pay $350.00 for one pair of thongs when thongs are not enough material... man for that price they should be dipped in gold or diamonds.

Obviously I have a feeling I forgot about lots of them but here are a few:

    From ‘Time’s Up’:

(Sid shows Stella and Danny sad faces drawn all over a girl’s body)
Sid: There's no way she could have done all this to herself. Unless she was capable of drawing on her own buttocks.
Danny: I knew a kid back in the Bronx who could blow out a candle with...
Desperate Stella interrupting: What about stomach content?
(Danny gives her a disappointed look – why don’t you want to hear my fascinating story? :guffaw:)

    ‘Till Death Do We Part’:

(Stella and Aiden just arrived at an old monastery and Flack’s telling them a hand was found inside)
A: You didn't find anything else?
    F:I haven't gone in yet.
A: What?! Flack, you little scaredy cat. You don't believe these stories about this place being haunted?
F: I was doing my job, Aiden. Getting statements from witnesses.
    A: Stella, you smell that?
S: Yeah, chicken. Uh, but I did hear the one about the monk who went crazy and killed the others is true.
F: (trying to defend himself) The One-Two-Two gets calls of strange noises coming from this place all the time.
A: Will you stop?? That's just an old urban legend.
S: Uh, Aiden, I think you'd better hold Flack's hand.
F: (pissed ) Yeah, okay. Cute.

    From ‘Tri-Borough’:

    Aiden: Anybody see anything?
Flack: When does anybody ever see anything?

Flack interrogating a suspect in ‘Grand Master’:

F: Well, forgive me if I allow your status as a multiple felon to color my opinion of you.
    and then...
F: Last time I checked, the murder weapon we confiscated didn't have cute little legs, walking around from toolbox to toolbox.

'Stuck on You', one of my favourite episodes ever:

Flack: I've slept with a lot of women. Some wild, some crazy, some both.
Stella: (with a strange look) Excuse me?
    F: Carlo's words. Not mine.
    S: Ah.
F: Should have swung by the hospital to meet this guy. He's a piece of work. He calls himself the new American playboy. Lives, drinks, and breathes women. (Stella gives him another look)
F: Again, his words. So that in mind, as far as jealous exes go, lot of 'em.
S: I'd say Carlo emerges as our primary target.
F: Five minutes into the interview, I wanted to kill him.

    s1 eppy 22 (the closer)
(Stella gets a buzz while she's with Hawkes in the examination room.)
Stella: Oh Dispatch! Oh I get a feeling it's going to be a very busy day.
    Hawkes: Mmmhmmm
    Stella: Wanna switch jobs?
Hawkes: Oh! Yeah, sure. (he picks up a handsaw) You'll be cutting off that guy's right arm. And left leg, (he smiles at her)
Stella: Hmm (she smiles and pats his cheek) I'm leaving now.

s2 eppy 2 (Grand Murder at Central Station)
(Det. John Scagnetti walks in with a pink bag)
Danny: Ooh, Detective Prada! That's a nice bag, matches your shoes perfectly.
Scagnetti: (sarcastically) You're a funny guy, Messer.

    s2 eppy 13( risk)
Sid: Sorry for the delay.. QT and I were busy necking.
    Stella: Come again?
Sid: Necking! Looking at his neck! You don't think I'd kiss corpses, do you?
Stella: No, no.. of course not!
    Sid: That's disgusting!
    Stella: I agree!

    s2 eppy 22 (Stealing Home)
(Mac and Hawkes enter the Jeffries' apartment.)
Mac: Welcome to the house of trinogamy.
Hawkes: Wow, I gotta admit this was not what I expected.
Mac: I'll bite. What were you expecting?
Hawkes: I dunno...lava lamps, weird tapestry, a robo-spanker, maybe a couple of big--
Mac: (cuts him off) Alright, alright. I'm sorry I asked.

    s3 eppy 14(The Lying Game)
Stella: What would a woman be doing in the men's bathroom?
Flack: I can think of several reasons. All with happier endings.

And one last one i got to have Mac and stella:D
    s3 eppy 17 (the ride-in)
Stella: It just happened. I was putting a piece of bloody glass into an evidence bag. It was still wet. It just broke, cut me. I had no idea at the time that Emery Gable was HIV positive.
Mac: Stella, why didn't you tell me?
Stella: I thought I could handle it on my own. I'm scared, Mac, I know there are a lot of people living with AIDS, and I just… I don't think I have the strength to do that. I don't think I'm brave enough to wait for a cure.
Mac: What is it you say to me?...(saying in Greek)... You always have the strength, you always have the guts.
    Stella: (saying sth. in Greek)
Mac: If you need to leave work, take some time off...
Stella: No. I took a blood test. It came back negative. I'm still in that window. I won't know if I'm HIV positive for another ten weeks. Right now, the only thing keeping me sane is work.
Mac: (pulling her into a hug)I'm here for you.
    Stella: I know.
    Mac: Alright?

Flack: "Let me put it this way: If a port-a-potty and a dishwasher ever mixed it up, this thing would be their offspring" (this one is great when you see it and see Mac's expression!)

Flack: "My friends don't play broom ball with my face."

Lindsay: "So Flack, how many phone numbers did you get?"
Don: "I don't think I like where you're going with this, Monroe."
    Lindsay: "Really? How many?"
    Don: "Three."
    Stella: "Everybody loves a hero."

Flack: "Stop, drop and roll, you sonofabitch."

Flack: "She was murdered last night. You think you can wave your hand over her, bring her back to life?"

ok. This took me a while because my mother tongue is not English so if you want to correct this , feel free to do it. I'll appreciate that (besides i'm not at the top of my Listening English class :D) . I liked this scene because it's similar to the one from S4 when Mac talked heart-to-heart to Stella and he asked her if they were going to catch the cabbie killer in "Personal Foul"

From Open and Shut Season 3

Stella’s office. Lindsay out, Mac in

Stella- We are fine. (referring to Lindsay stormy out) I spoke to Grace Thomasson. She is blaming herself

    Mac-Common reaction

Stella-We have to go to the crime scene and we start rambling off flat attitudes to people. We talk about pain, loss and healing…but the truth is…the only that cares in our business is death

Mac-I know this has to be a little tough on you, Stella

Stella-Yeah, actually I think is good. To bring up stuff I haven’t deal with. And I’m looking at Grace and I know what she is going through

    Mac-Tracy Davis

    Stella-Our very fist case together

Mac-I remember the look in your eyes when at the end of that bitchy day you processed the crime scene and analyzed her clothes. And I tell you now what I told you then: it’s hard to separate yourself emotionally but at the end always it comes down to the evidence

Stella- I didn’t forget that, Mac. This case is different. I’m different. I know what’s like to be trapped in your home. I have a vivid memory of that horrible moment when you realized your only way out is a bullet. I have not choice but to be emotionally involved
