Oh, its not a problem :)! I wanted to talk to you more earlier on msn but I got really busy -- my day in general has been hectic but I hope I can catch up with you sometime tommorow hopefully after work! :)

Yeah We did have this conversation! I think you did say you thought of "Analogy Heart" as David's "version" of OLP's - Gravity -- I can in some ways see that is true...Like I said before Raine's influence/inspiration is there and shows in David's song....ahahaha that's funny because I can picture Raine LET GO and/or PORCELAIN too!

David is getting there...I mean you have to give him props b/c he did s/thing that most singer/songwriters can't/or find hard to do..He was able to atleast try and make the song(s) flow...I think give him a couple of year and he'll get there and be able to also tell more of a story with the song(s)! :)

haha please don't get me excited over nothing hahaha  :p...I would love to hear what song they'd come up with together if they did do a duet...that'd be quiet the song...I'd probably not CRY but GRR I'd be so insanely JEALOUS of David...now I'm getting jealous over nothing ...I should probably just shut up now...

    1. David Cook - Innocent (cover)
    2. David Cook - Always Be My Baby (cover)
    3. David Cook - Let Go
    4. David Cook - Porcelain
    5. Cartel - Lose It

    7. Cartel - Wonderwall
    8. PATD - I Write Sins Not Tragedies
    9. PATD - 9 in the afternoon
    10. OLP - Are You Sad?!
    11. NOW PLAYING - OLP - Thief

lmao! Yes he's definitely a nerd word. But I love it. I learn so many new words when listening to his interviews. I adore songs that sound like they're written for me. Only a few artists are like that for me. He's one of them, and Our Lady Peace and Taylor Swift come to mind too.

Woah. That's cool. This Katie is kind of too scared of needles to get any tattoos. :p If I was going to get anything, I'd probably get it in the small of my back... and just a small symbol or something.

 It just pissed me off because so many people call music that I listen to emo... it's not. I don't like real emo music, it's just not my style. And just because someone takes a happy song, makes it their own and makes it a bit less happy sounding doesn't mean it's "emo".

LMAO. I haven't listened to that song in forever. Have you heard of the song Fuck You Right Back by Frankee? It's the girl's point of view.

    1. Frankee - Fuck You Right Back :p
    2. OneRepublic - Stop & Stare
    3. Backstreet Boys - Everybody (Backstreet's Back)
    4. OneRepublic - Apologize
    5. Creed - With Arms Wide Open
    6. Creed - One Last Breath
    7. Three Doors Down - Kryptonite
    8. Otep - Perfectly Flawed
    9. Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air
    10. My Chemical Romance - Kill All Your Friends

 :p hahaha Aw, really?! from looking at the listings you post here I don't think the music you listen to is "emo"...and I agree with you just because someone takes a happy song, makes it their own and makes it a bit less happy sounding doesn't mean it's "emo"..

 LMFAO! (Seriously you didn't mean that did you?!) ahahaha yeah I heard Frankee's version --- to me her version sound just urgh W-T-F! I mean seriously all she did was tweak the lyrics abit and sing the exact same song ...I loved Eamon's version...I actually think he okay as an artist I mean he has had another CD out which is okay it's not like he did one song then completely disappeared unlike some people :p  hahaha I haven't heard that song in like forever either...ehehehe that's what happens when you put it on shuffle!! :D

    1. Our Lady Peace - Are You Sad?!
    2. The Maine - I Wanna Love You

I love it when people say your emo just cos of the music you listen to. My mates at work well one thinks i'm a grunger cos i don't listen to Drum 'n' Bass like everyone else and i don't really like R'n'B.. he thinks i'm a rocker (i class myself slightly more indie) and i'm like yes i do like rock music cos its actually decent he gets scared when i say i go to a heavy metal night and enjoy loud music.

But then i get in his books cos i bought the ministry of sound anthems album but thats because old school dance music is actually good.

Though saying that after hearing Escala last night on britains got talent i really loved listening to the string quartet something totally different.

    1. Underworld - Born Slippy
    2. The Enemy - Pressure
    3. Sixx:Am - Heart Failure

haha that's funnny..I don't get that alot since...well since I can pretty much listen to any type of music (if is sound good) without really complaining to much but my friends do see me as a "Rocker" cause I do listen to mainly rock but I open to new and different stuff...I don't mind R'n'B or Hip Hop but sometimes that type of music is slightly overrated! and I surprisingly listen to alot of classical stuff and country music is okay when your in the mood for it! :)

    2. OLP - Julia
    3. Ferras - Hollywood's Not America

haha i love how he's a word nerd. I'm secretly one but he is def more talented with how he vocalizes things. If you read my reports for work and my school work I type better than how i talk because i talk faster than i think so i at times dont make sense. i've improved on it. I also don't like talking all the time with big words because sometimes people are just like "uhh what" or they pretend to understand so i try to stay away from that unless im around people that can comprehend then again we are all little word nerds in our own way. We're all different kinds of "smarts" wow i dont even know where im going with this.

I agree, Although ive only heard that one taylor song im not a fan of country I can see what you mean... but i definetly do see a lot more of OLP and Big wreck in his music, also with some Acceptance. He does listen to them so it makes sense with some of the positive influenced songs on the record.

I actually hate needles as well, but when you get a tattoo, also depends on where you get it but it honestly didn't feel like a needle at all. It felt more like a little burn, it didn't hurt that bad. But then again it depends on where you get the tattoo. supposedly the ribs are a killer, so if you dont like that I'd stay away from that area (just incase you ever decide to get a tattoo) but apparently girls can handle that area more-so than guys so who knows, probably depends on the artist how heavy handed he/she is... and how much pain you can tolerate. Some people do have a higher threshold for pain.
That sounds cool tho! back tattoos are fun haha i dont know why.

Well we all know MCR are soooo emo and want to die and are really a suicide cult. :p

I like Eamon's version better too. All I know by him is that song, though. :p

lmfao. I type faster than I think... how sad is that? So I skip words sometimes when I type and no one knows what I'm trying to say. Poor us. :p

I normally don't like country at ALL but I love Taylor for some reason. I can relate to her because she's around my age... and well most of the songs I can relate to are about boys :)rolleyes:) hahahhaha wow I'm lame. But yeah. I don't know Big Wreck or Acceptance but I can definitely see some OLP influence in Cookie's songs. :D

Hm... yeah. I've watched LA Ink before and some people seem totally cool with getting the tattoo but then other people are almost passing out from the pain. But yeah, like you said, it really depends on where you get it. Frank Iero was on LA Ink (which is the only reason I watched it :p) and he said anything near the ribs, chest or stomach hurts. I don't think I'll ever get a tat though. My mom would probably disown me. lol, jk but she really, really hates them. She almost wouldn't even watch LA Ink with me because she thought Frank was only getting one because he's a "rockstar" and that's what they do. I think they can be awesome if they really mean something.

    1. Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks
    2. The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up
    3. Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Around (Like A Record)

    8. Faber Drive - You'll Make It
    9. My Chemical Romance - Dead!
    10. My Chemical Romance - Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us

Katie - MCR aren't that bad. I mean seriously..the main reason why they get called "Emo" is the media spinning it and say stuff about them ....Like the things you mentioned...and I'm saying this even though I don't listen to their music anymore...
