some light hearted moments definately and them being back to the way they were when they first met. of course that's not gonna happen but they can get back to a happy place again together if they try.

I wanna see light heartedness to its something i've wanted to see more of all along its what they are good at. They flirt well, so if they could flirt and let nothing happen i would be happy if it meant consistency from the characters and the chance to prove LIndsay can stand her own as a character.

I just don't want angst... drives me round the bend

I would love to see our favorite CSI's back to their happy selves like how they were in the second season. Absolutely no more relationship angst at all (maybe the sixth season cuz I understand that you can't have them happy 100% of the time ).

I would also love to see them working on more cases together where maybe Lindsay is the head detective on the case (if that makes any sense at all). More interrogation room with both of them.

I suppose I want what everyone else wants here - DL back to doing what it does best - flirtatious fun I could do without any more angst for these two for the early part of season 5. I would like to see Danny get back on track and Lindsay definitely needs to go back to her fiestiness of past seasons.

But I would love some indication of what actually happened in this season before they move forward. As we have said before, it does not have to be a talk between the two of them - perhaps we could see Lindsay talking to Hawkes, saying that they were taking things slow? Or Danny explaining to Flack where things stood with Linday?

What do you all think that Flack makes of it all? In PF, I thought he was just glad to benefit from Lindsay being mad at Danny - ie getting to watch the game. But some people seem to think that Flack was sick of Lindsay's behaviour towards Danny ? He did not seem to have a problem with her when she was covering for Danny (in the episode where RIkki stole his gun?). Just wondering how everyone else saw it?

I've read about Lindsay's self absorbedness quite a lot over the years and I still don't get that at all. I just see a woman who's been trough plenty of heart ache in her life and now is just really carefull with showing her emotions or allowing herself to care about others too much because she is afraid to be hurt again ...I still rather call it self protection instead of self absorbed...

I agree, even when they decide that now is perhaps not the best time for D/L on this show and it indeed turns out that Lindsay thought there was more between them than Danny did (although his actions up until SD certainly contradict that ), I just want them back to the flirting and bantering and awkwardness....:lol:

Perhaps somewhere around the time they were editing Boo! they began writing the Ruben/Rikki story (?)...that fore head kiss would have been the first (only ?) time this season where we would've seen Danny being 'personal' with Lindsay...somehow when they decided to cut that scene it must have been then that they decided to only let Lindsay make all the insinuations and moves, just to make it appear that she was the one who thought that their relation was more serious :wtf:...I don't know why, but someone obviously thought that this would make for some great drama and prefered that instead of a small 'bump'.:brickwall:

No idea, but I'm guessing somewhere at the beginning of September...and there should be more to the 4x21/5x01 story than just Mac, Mac and more Mac

The only thing I want is to know the status of their relationship!

That's one of the reasons I haven't been around this board lately...when we D/L shippers were all somewhat convinced that they had something serious after SD we were told over and over again, that as long as it was not mentioned or showed in any of the eps it was not actually canon and now I hear more and more about Flack's possible hate for Lindsay; well I'm sorry, but I've never seen any indication of that...he just seems uncomfortable around ALL the science people when they are talking about their field of expertise and Lindsay is pretty longwinded when it comes to that , but when they are not - like with the Laughin' Larry stuff - he seems to get along with Lindsay just fine. Of course he was happy to go with Danny to the game, what guy wouldn't be when he hears his best friend is going with his girlfriend instead of him and then at the last moment he gets to go anyway...

Spoiler: Next season

There will be a case about some sex dolls and Flack and Lindsay apparently have some fun about that (?)

So as long as I don't hear Flack say he hates Lindsay I am not buying that at all!

Seriously, the Flack thing has also greatly angered me too Where have we seen anywhere that Flack is annoyed or angered by Lindsay and her actions? Where?! We really haven't had enough of Flack and Lindsay to say that one hates the other or vice versa. Really there hasn't been a lot of scenes with those two to get that vibe...

When I saw Flack telling Danny should piss off Lindsay more often, I saw that as two friends teasing each other and having a good time. Flack being bitter towards Lindsay...not at all! It ain't canon that Flack doesn't like Lindsay till I hear out of his own mouth!

I agree with you all! There has been absolutely no indication that Flack dislikes Lindsay.......or visa versa. I've never seen him act all annoyed when he's around her. All the Lindsay hate on this board is probably why I only stick to this thread and the spoilers thread. Anyway.........

I'm so ready for some better D/L scenes in S5. I would really just like to see the flirting banter they had in S2 & S3 back again.

I agree with all of you. I don't get why Flack should hate Lindsay. I never had the feeling. I also didn't have the feeling he had anything against her in CP. Seriously, I have even no idea where there has ever been a scene where he seemed to have a problem with her. Am I blind? I don't think so. I'd even say they like each other. But maybe that's only because I'm a fluff-addicted fangirl? :lol: Lindsay and Flack don't work together much, and when they did, he never acted like he disliked her. Maybe we could judge when they'd work together often, but they don't.

I just noticed something. I'm always doing the same: 1) I post over and over again that I don't want too much fluffy happiness. Why? I'm a shipper, I can wish for whatever I want. 2) I'm still posting over and over again that DL were together after SD in my opinion. Do I have to convince anyone? No. For me- DL are a couple, always were since SD and will be again, and I want them on screen. I want some fluff. And I don't care that it's not the DL show. They could give us drama? Good, now give us fluff!

And to answer my own question: I want to know if they're together again or not. And I want to see them getting closer to each other again, which means I don't want drama but them reconnecting. And I want at least one fluffy scene.

I never saw he hated her it seemed more to me that Flack is a homicide detective and isn't no scientist and i noticed it s1 he gets easily confused and way prefers the simple answer which alot of the time she doesn't give them.

I liked his comment tho at the basketball game cos it showed he knew something which is a good thing in my opinion.

Wayhey! The place is looking busy! Dawni & Bella, sorry to rub it in ladies, but Scotland got it pretty good with the sunshine over the weekend. Not anymore obviously, we're back to torrential rain and horrible winds, I'm terrified I'm gonna drown in a puddle....

Diversing again, so I'll start with the latest thing I've read. Flack hates Lindsay. and they say us DL shippers have active imaginations. Ok, Flack clearly doesn't know what is going on - all he seemed to care about was that he managed to get a ticket to this awesome game because Lindsay was pissed at Danny. Not, Man - I hate Lindsay you should totally break up with her - yay on Reuben's mom etc.You know what, enough on that - bleeding fantasists! Is that a word? I don't care, it is now!

*calms down after unexpected rant*

:lol: Now that, I would love to see, if that scene occurs, no doubt we'll get some banter back and forth of whether they float Flack's boat and him getting a dig in over SMM? Yeah, I know fantasy land, but! it could give an indication of relationship, if any, status.

What would I like to see next? Well, clarity for a start. That would be nice but y'all mentioned that already. No more soap opera style drama. DL? Drama! Stella&Sexy but Creepy 333 guy? Drama! Mac&Quinn&Jordan? Drama! and other names and abuse I don't even wanna go there. No more voiceovers!

The only positive steps shown in this season has been some nice development of the lovely Adam, I would say he is underused but everyone already knows that. In fact, the rest of the cast is underused when it comes to cases. Mac has had some nice screen time and Danny was superb in his grief (choose a different way to deal with it next time, sunshine!) but as for the rest of the season it was a pretty poor show. After SD (no relation to DL) I was expecting off the chart eps. Don't get me wrong, Danny scaling Lady Lib in the first ep was a pretty hot way to start but then we kinda dwindled, had the awesome 4.05, then Boo! (could have been better I know :lol commuted sentences then.... Nothing, nothing else stood out case wise. Even the Cabbie Killer, meh - not feeling a whole lotta love this season. Come on Season 5 - I know you'll excite me in ways I can only imagine! :lol: I wanna see shy hand holding again, SMM drawing Linds attention to something by taking her hand or holding onto her arm and directing her over and then 'forgetting' to let go. :lol: this time however, there won't be that drop the hand, look away and pretend it didn't happen. Smiles!

Ahhh, that would be lovely . I'm ready for some nice moments with D/L again. I even bought S2 & S3 from Amazon last week so I could get some much needed D/L sweetness. The playful banter and flirting have sorely been missed this past season. Here's to hoping for a better year with S5!

I still think she already knows. That would explain why she still keeps him on a distance. I don't think it's just because he pushed her away. I think she either knows or suspects something. I really hope, this storyline is finally over. PF was a good ending for it. Now DL should move on, and continue reconnecting.

And because we already got the Lindsay-I love you, we now need a Danny-I love you. This would be the next logical thing in my eyes. And how damn cute would it be?
