'Going Ballistic' & 'Hostage' Official Details

    It's not a good week to be in charge.<p>On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, <I>CSI: Miami</I> airs <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/going_ballistic.shtml">"Going Ballistic"</a>, the season six finale:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>When someone is determined to take down the team, Horatio puts his life on the line.</font><p></dt></dl><p>This is <font color=yellow>Sam Hill</font>'s thirteenth turn in the director's chair for <I>Miami</I>. His most recent episode prior to this was <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/ambush.shtml">"Ambush"</a>. <font color=yellow>Corey Miller</font> has written 18 previous episodes of the show, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/csi_my_nanny.shtml">"CSI: My Nanny"</a>.<p>The following actors and actresses will guest-star in the <I>Miami</I> finale:<p><ul><li><font color=yellow>Elizabeth Berkley</font> as Julia Winston<li><font color=yellow>Kim Coastes</font> as Ron Saris<li><font color=yellow>Steve Braun</font> as Brad Gower<li><font color=yellow>David Keith</font> as Agent Evan Caldwell<li><font color=yellow>Lyriq Bent</font> as Colin Madison<li><font color=yellow>Jose Zuniga</font> as Juan Ortega<li><font color=yellow>Jay Tavare</font> as Manny Ortega<li><font color=yellow>Allison McAtee</font> as Shannon Higgins<li><font color=yellow>Kurt Long</font> as Thomas Wellner</ul><p>Elizabeth Berkley and Kim Coates are reprising established roles, and both were last seen in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/all_in.shtml">"All In"</a>. Jose Zuniga has appeared on <I>Miami</I> before, in <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season1/simple_man.shtml">"Simple Man"</a>, and he also played a detective in eight episodes of <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I>, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season6/a_bullet_runs_through_it_b.shtml">"A Bullet Runs Through It, Part Two"</a>. Steve Braun was in the <I>CSI: New York</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season2/charge_of_this_post.shtml">"Charge of this Post"</a>.<p><I>CSI: New York</I> will air its finale this week as well. On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/hostage.shtml">"Hostage"</a> finds Mac in a sticky situation:<p><dl><dt><dd><font color=yellow>When a heist goes bad and a bank manager is shot dead, a frantic gunman takes the entire bank hostage and demands a CSI come in to prove his innocence.</font><p></dt></dl><p>"Hostage" was directed by <font color=yellow>Rob Bailey</font>, who has 19 other credits for the show, including <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/admissions.shtml">"Admissions"</a>. The episode was written by <font color=yellow>Peter M. Lenkov</font> and <font color=yellow>Zachary Reiter</font>. Lenkov has 12 writing credits (the latest being <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/doa_for_a_day.shtml">"DOA for a Day"</a>), and Reiter has 13 (the latest being "Admissions").<p>"Hostage" contains the following guest-stars:<p><ul><li><font color=yellow>Robert Joy</font> as Dr. Sid Hammerback<li><font color=yellow>Elias Koteas</font> as "Joe"/Douglas<li><font color=yellow>Tiara Parker</font> as Talia Kirkfield<li><font color=yellow>Dennis W. Hall</font> as Steven Morris<li><font color=yellow>Sharni Vinson</font> as Lori Mandel<li><font color=yellow>Roger Aaron Brown</font> as HRT Commander Richard Jackson<li><font color=yellow>Adam Baldwin</font> as Brett Dunbar<li><font color=yellow>Dayo Ade</font> as Derrick James</ul><p>Robert Joy is reprising his established role as coroner Sid Hammerback. Roger Aaron Brown was in the <I>CSI</I> episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season6/bodies_in_motion.shtml">"Bodies in Motion"</a>. Adam Baldwin appeared on <I>Miami</I>, in the episode <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season1/dead_woman_walking.shtml">"Dead Woman Walking"</a><p>On Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> will re-air <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/dead_doll.shtml">"Dead Doll"</a>, the premiere of season eight. The episode picked up where the season seven finale, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season7/living_doll.shtml">"Living Doll"</a>, ended: with Sara trapped in the desert after being kidnapped by the Miniature Killer. Grissom and the rest of the team had to find her before it was too late.<p>"Going Ballistic", "Hostage" and the repeat of "Dead Doll" begin airing May 19 on CBS.<center></center>

    Peter Lenkov and Zachary Reiter are definitely two of my favourite writers. I'm really looking forward to the NY finale, the hostage situation sounds pretty exciting. :)
