Aww, such a sad challenge. *squishes Alexx* Least -05: It's very creative, but the cropping is still a bit oddly placed and is a bit distracting, I'm not sure where to look. -06: The background lighting covers part of Alexx's face. Best -04: The arrangement of everything is well-put together. It's all clear, and the the dotted part adds a nice touch, bringing everything in. Lovely colouring as well! Ack, I was stuck between a couple but everyone did a wonderful job.

It's too light. Best: # 2: Nice coloring, perfect contrast and the text is very subtle. It was a very tough choice, but you all made nice icons! Good luck with the voting! :thumbsup:

Also part of the light is invading Alexx's face. 5 - The crop is a bit too severe, the choppiness takes away from the composition. Best: 3 - The crop is very nice and the simplicity of the overall icon is wonderful. The text is positioned just right so it doesn't take away from the subject. Great job!
Re: LIMS #5: Challenge 8 Least Quality: 6 - erm I have to say I actually like the idea of the effect you were creating but the blending seems to "eat up" Alexx's face...and I'm wasn't too sure where to look when I saw the icon... 5 - I really really like the idea and its very creative but the cropping seems too severe... Best Quality: 4- I love the brush you used, the crop is fantastic and the simple colouring brings the icon together nicely...great job!! Eeew! this was indeed a very hard round to vote for...Kudos to you all, you did an amazing job!!

This is so hard, all icons are awesome, so I had to search for reasons... #5: it's a great idea, but it seems a bit over-cropped (does this word even exist?) and that's distracting too much #6: again a great idea, and awesome work with the fading text, but the blending of Alexx is done a bit "scruffy", like some others said before: the light covers too much of Alexx face Best: #4: what else can I say but PERFECT! Picture choice, cropping, brush(or texture) work = love it

Re: LIMS #5: Challenge 8 Least 05 - I like the idea but the result is a bit distracting. You don't know where to look. 06 - I LOVE Alexx on the left side! But as the others said before, the light in the center covers too much of the other Alexx's face and makes it hard to read the text. Best 01 - A bit dark but it goes well with the image and I like the glow around the text.
