This has always bugged me but why is Grissom always holding something in his hands when he's walking? It is more noticeable in the first 2 seasons and he's the only character that does.

I have also noted that when he doesn't have anything in his hands, he keeps his hands out, by his side, his fingers are raised out, it's hard to describe but you'll know what I mean if you've seen it. It might be a Billy thing, rather than a Grissom thing.

Maybe it's to take the focus away from his adorable bow-legged walk, or it could be that WP just feels more comfortable holding things and doesn't know what to do with his hands if he isn't holding something. In contrast to Marg, whom in the beginning Anthony Zuiker said was "prop deficient" - as she seemed to always be dropping the props she was holding.

Aww bless Marg dropping the props all the time, bless her. I can picture that.

And it probably does have something to do with just what WP feels comfortable with, maybe it is easier for him to focus on the acting rather than what to do with his hands, I know whenever I have to do a presentation or anything, I never know what to do with my hands!!

defo a Billy thing. He's always flexing his ring finger and thumb of his left hand and toughing them together. A total guess here - but he injured his hand many years ago (severed a finger), maybe he has problems with that hand cos of it. But it's defo something he does, whether he's Grissom or not! So maybe it is why he's often holding something.

He does the thing you mentionned Gameface (I find it cute) and he also raises his hand a little and moves his fingers apart. I don't know if it's clear what I'am saying but he does this thing a lot and it's cute too.

Greg always seems to be holding file folders I have noticed in scenes in the lab. Even when they were in the last scene this past week's ep he was sitting and had a file folder with him. I have always wondered why. I know Eric likes to talk with his hands a lot...maybe it is to stop it slightly, but he still does it.

Episode 403 means that it is season 4, episode 3.

Okay, another gun question: does anyone know what kind of firearms the CSIs use?
