And because I'm feeling particularly evil, there can be no colour at all in your icons. This includes text and brushes. No Color! The Caps: This round will New York's Danny Messer, as chosen by dstined4gr8ness. Remember, you must use these caps and ONLY these caps to make your icon. Thanks to Modern Day Gallery for the caps! Least Quality 02 - Danny is too dark so the first thing you see is the text which distracts from Danny. 04 - The image is overexposed. Best Quality 06 - Everything is cool - the mask, the sparkles on the edges, the crop. Great work! 05 - There's a lot going on in the icon but it doesn't distract from the main thing, Danny. And the blending with the hand is cool.

A little bit more contrast would have gone a long way. 02: Cool concept and probably would have worked exceptionally well in colour, but Danny is darker than everything else which makes him blend in too much. Top Quality 06: Everything goes together well, the black/white isn't too washed out or too dark. The brushes/light textures add a great effect! 05: Everything's clear, not oversharpened in my opinion and the closeup of his hand adds a nice touch. Great job everyone!
