Least Quality 09. the coloring is good, but the image is a tad too blurry and the text seems to be a bit too wide, maybe a shorter line or something... 06. the image seems to have not enough contrast and too much saturation 07. The left side of lindsay's face is almost undistinguishable Best 3. love love love this. Love the greyscale, love the red behind the text, perfect crop, perfect text placement. awesome job 8. i really like the crop and coloring you did. good contrast, but it still looks crisp and natural Awesome job everyone.!!!

The face just doesn't stand out as much. 07: As the whole image is that purple color, there is not distinction between Linds and the background so she doesn't stand out as much as she could. 09: The text seems misplaced, maybe try it lower next time? Best: 02: I LOVE the crop! It looks really professional, and the text is perfect. Great job. 08: Great feel to this one and I love the font, do be telling what it's called?

Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 Least: 3 - The background and text are popping out more than Lindsay is. 7 - Lindsay is blurry and hard to distinguish from the color. 10 - Lindsay gets lost under the brush and is blending in with the background. Best: 8 - The over all composition drew my eye to this icon first, plus the text is amazing. 4 - I like the uniqure crop, didn't take off too much and the simplicity works well.
Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 *takes a cookie* Let me just say, wow!, awesome work everyone All of those are very good! Least favourites : 07. Because of the all purple background, and the fact that one side of her face is a bit too dark, Lindsay doesn't stand out. 01. The way the text is placed isn't the most favourable, I think. 04. The cropping could have been better, I think it "cuts" Lindsay's expression, and makes her look somewhat weird-looking. Favourites: 10. I love how those lines in the background (sorry, no idea of how that is called) make Lindsay stand out. Also the cropping is good and the colouring is pretty. 05. I think the text is very well placed and it has an overall beautiful look.
Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 Least 07: The purple is a bit overpowering and the icon is a little too dark. 01: The magenta on her skin makes it look un-natural. 09: The text seems a bit out of place--perhaps fading it more or placing it somewhere where it doesn't transect Lindsay's neck/face would be better? Best 10: Love the textures, colours, and everything blends well together! 06: I was a little torn between this one and another one but I absolutely love the colouring on this icon. Fantastic job.
Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 Least 7. The purple is extremely overpowering to the icon and it's also a bit dark 9. It's blurry and the tiny text just doesn't fit with the whole icon 10. The sparkly effect just don't fit the icon as a whole and is very distracting. Best 3. The black and white is very distinct and doesn't look overdone. It seems to just fit together really well. 6. For having no layers, the coloring is simply gorgeous.
Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 LQ: 7-The purple colour is overpowering and the icon appears oversharpened. 9-Blurry, the tiny text doesn't fit the icon. 10-The effects don't fit the icon and make it appear blurry. BQ: 4-Nice colouring and risky cropping. 8-Simple and beautiful.

It is too close to her face which makes the icon appear a bit crowded 03 - The text stands out more than Lindsay does which is distracting and she looks yellowish-pale. 07 - Too much colour going on here. You can hardly see the left side of Lindsay's face. Best 06 - Really cool text effect and the colouring isn't too loud. 08 - The icon is sharp but not too much. I like the natural colouring.
Re: LIMS #5: Round 4 I have to say, this is always such a hard choice to make. All of those icons are really great to look at, but obviously, I need to specify three of lower quality. So here it goes... Least quality: 02 - The face has a bit to less contrast and even the colouring itself is nice, the face seems a bit blurry because of it. 03 - I am not much of a fan of the cropping. THere is too much space in the top and on the sides. And the face is too much centered. The grainy overlay (even it is not an overlay, I suppose... ;o) ) distracts me a bit as well. 09 - Seems to be just a tiny bit too blurry/too "soft" in a way. As well, the brush could have better be placed in lower third of the icon instead of in the middle where it almost gets into the face. That would have helped to balance out the darker area in the bottom of it. Best: 06 - Cropping, text and colouring is awesome. Looks very good, clean and sharp. Really appealing. 10 - Nice effect overlay with the colours and stripes. It gives the icon some sort of depth. Well done.

Maybe with more contrast could have work out. 04-The icon looks over saturated 01-The colouring seems a little off. Best: 06-Great cropping, Beautiful colouring, nice text placement. 08-Just great it just work out the cropping, the text, the colouring.
