Methinks a lot of fanfic is the only way to get through these strikes. Maybe everyone should follow my lead and plan to finish all unfinshed fics It is my current aim hehe.

Ah sweet! Fic challenge I swear I'll do my assignment this time, just be easy on the grading!

Okay, this is probably really stupid, but I have a question about the first element (yes...I am that stupid ) So is the person burned accidentally and it can be either repeatedly or badly; is it that someone is burned either accidentally, or repeatedly, or badly; or does it not really matter? I'm guessing the answer is C, but I figure I may as well clarify...the English language being what it is and all.

Jodie and LeAnne, you guys are amazing!!! If I'd never seen the episode, I'd believe they actually kissed (as it was, I had to do a double take)

Random story for your/my entertainment: So last night for the first time in a long time, I had a life and didn't get back home until 3 am, but it was -12F (what's that, like -24,-25C??) so the garage door wouldn't open. I didn't have the keys to my house (they were going to leave the inside garage door unlocked for me), and I could only get that stupid door to go up about four inches before it would crap out. So I'm sitting out there in snot-freezing cold trying to figure out how on earth I'm going to get into the house without making too much noise. Unfortunately, my brain froze, and I went into fight/flight mode and decided to take the fastest way in short of breaking in. Ooh, it was coooooooooold!

 

^ I locked myself out of my house a couple winters ago. Of course, by my definition of winter I mean it was about 40 degrees outside. So I guess you win. :lol:

I'm totally looking forward to reading all the V-Day fics. The only bad thing about there being a challenge is that I know if I start thinking about it, I'll get an idea, and then I'll have to write it. And we don't want that. Or, at least, I don't. :lol:

 

Oh I'm so stupid. The webpage did that thing again where it tells you the form isn't valid and whenyou go back to get it, what you wrote is gone. Alas...I will try to remember.

Jessica, I would just like to say that I want that (as in you to write a fic), but I understand that you're probably under a lot of pressure between school and fics and all that fun stuff. Perhaps you could combine your v-day fic with your up-against-the-wall fic :devil: I'll totally do your school work if you write the story.

As far as temperature and being locked outside, I think it sucks whether it's 40 or -12...plus I'm sure someone out there has been locked out of the house at -50 (and that's without the windchill...though I tend to stay inside if it gets colder than -30. To each his own, I suppose.

 

My semester just started last week, so I'm not exactly stressed with school yet. That doesn't happen until March/April. I'm just too lazy to take on another fic project...not to mention another one with a due date! :lol: I probably wouldn't start it until the day before either, heh. Besides, if I'm not spending time working on a V-Day fic, then my up-against-the-wall fic will be that much better. I'm kind of torn though; I don't have a plot for that up-against-the-wall fic yet, but I do have a plot for an up-on-the-counter fic that I really want to write. And no, it's not up-on-the-counter smut, you guys. :lol:

I wish it would get somewhat cold in Miami. Or that Eric and Calleigh could actually go somewhere cold on a case. Like up north. How cute would it be if Calleigh were so unprepared for the cold weather, and Eric let her borrow his coat? Aw. That coat would like swallow her or something; it'd be so damn big on her. But she'd still manage to look adorable wearing it, and you know Eric would notice.

And being somewhere cold gives them the absolutely perfect opportunity to cuddle. Aw! Or, I'm not picky; they can just stay in Miami and cuddle. Nothing makes my EC secretly-fluffy shipper heart melt like the idea of Eric and Calleigh cuddling.

 

Jess, why is it every time you post, you make me want a fic out of you? Why do you do it? :lol:
