Oddly enough I'll listen to any Justin Timberlake sounds & I'll feel better. His sweet, sensual vocals & upbeat, catchy tempos always put a smile on my face, whether I'm sad or angry. One song in particular is "SexyBack", as that easily boosts my mood & confidence .
I go for a little classical piano when I feel the need to chill.....Anything ny Maksim seems to do the trick... On another note when I'm in the car with my youngest (age 2) Nelly Furtado..Maneater Promiscuous Justin Timberlake...Sexyback Thats the holy trinity of songs guaranteed to get her to sit still and bop along, instead of trying to undo seatbelts, doors, pulling hair etc....

Calming effect? May sound weird but Secret Garden always has a calming effect on me..Especially great to sleep to.. And the Cafe del Mar(2004 edition) is quite decent as well..
Well I find some rock music or japanese music calm to me. Right now I am listening to Sevendust "Seasons" and Gackt "Last Song" Anything with guitar in it calms me. I don't really listen to the words when trying ot relax. I listen to the background music.
Moby. I really recomend 'porcaline'. I love the undertones off it, it relaxes you, but evokes really strong emotions too. Go buy, it's great! ^^I love words, I can rarely listen to music to relax because, reguarldess of what it is, I end up singing along with it. But Moby really calms me. J x
I'm really in love with two songs at the moment which make me calm down after a hard day Brad Paisley - He didn't have to be Garth Brooks - The dance
