OK, now I have to say I'm not holding out much hope for our dynamic duo being in a scene tonight, but I really am excited about one thing:

The new CSI:Miami magazine cover (set to hit newstands January will feature our lovely couple on the COVER!! WOOHOOO. I don't have a link to the picture, but I picked up Issue #1, which featured the original CSI and they had the cover for Issue #2 in there - it's from a Season 4 promo shot (the green shirts), but they look so awesome together! Maybe someone somewhere will be like, "oh hey, I remember that chemistry, they look great together, let's put them in a scene! :lol:

 

oh oh oh... where do I get that magazine from??? I've not seen it before... is there a place on the internet to order it? I didn't know that was a new epi tonight... I'll have to check it out. I would probably faint deadaway if the writers just went all DuCaine on us without warning at this point... but I can always dream, right? And thanks miamirocks!!! Like I said in my little video description on youtube, going back and using all of these older clips just made me fall in love with DuCaine all over again and see how great they are together and reinforced my belief that we are ENDGAME... It's my present to all of you on this thread, all my DuCaine friends, and I hope that it makes all of you feel the same way that it made me feel... DuCaine is just awesome!!!

I wonder what Horatio and Calleigh will do together for Christmas. Well, we all know what they *should* be doing... :devil: :devil: Oooh my evil little mind... I can see them decorating their tree, Calleigh putting the angel up on the top with a little help from Handsome. Maybe a little mistletoe in the doorway.... *le sigh*

I believe you can get the magazine at Borders or Barnes and Noble, starting January 8 (that's when it's slated to come out). I haven't seen the cover on the web anywhere, but it's a nice shot of them TOGETHER - where they BELONG!!

About last night's episode - I really liked it and thought H was a bit more human, but I couldn't help but compare it to "Stand Your Ground":

1. Ambulance scene - "Miami Confidential" = H check ing up on Ryan and Alexx. NICE!; "SYG" = H completely ignoring Calleigh through the whole episode and not approaching her at the ambulance, though he was only feet away. BOGUS!

2. Leading ladies: "MC" = Natalia - Horatio goes w/Nat to the FBI, talks to her at the end, offers her encouragement & words of wisdom etc.; "SYG" - H never speaks to Cal or resolves things.

3. ENDING: "MC" - H is w/Nat, and it ends on Nat, like it should b/c it was a Nat-centered episode - resolution complete!; "SYG" - ends on Horatio without Calleigh, even though it's a Calleigh-centric episode - there's no resolution.

Bottom line - that scene from last night should've been in "Stand Your Ground." The ep. would've been perfect had it not been for this ridiculous distance between H and Cal - and without any explanation. Everybody else interacts, for pete's sake! Why is H there for Nat, (and Ryan and Alexx for that matter) but not for Cal? WTF???

People are noticing and hopefully we'll get some resolution of our own at some point, once the writers' strike is over (please let that be soon!)

 

You see this absence makes no sense at all, and TPTB must be taking note. I mean come on!! how can you have Stella and Mac working constantly close together and Gris and Cath doing the same. the two seniors from the other csi's maintain there closeness, how can H and Cal not!!!!!!

Just to answer SpeedsDaughter on what Horatio and Calleigh would be doing for Christmas, that sounds perfect!! Let's hang misteltoe everywhere!! :lol: And the image of Horatio helping Calleigh put the angel on top of the tree, so cute!!
Well, here's what I think they would do: spend a romantic Christmas Eve together with a long walk on the beach and a moon-lit dance... On Christmas Day, they would exchange gifts, have dinner together, and then spend the night together doing all sorts of R-rated stuff that I will not mention here... :devil: :devil: Tee hee!! *ducks the meter*

Imagine as well if the lab had a Christmas party, how fun it woud be!! Champagne, dancing and misteltoe!! And plenty of photo ops!! :lol: The mental image of Horatio and Calleigh getting tipsy and dancing together just cracks me up!! :lol: If Calleigh wore a short red dress and sparkly shoes, could you see Horatio's face!!?? :lol:

I've already seen the cover for the new CSI: Miami magazine!! I bought the first issue with CSI: Vegas yesterday, and when I saw H and Cal, I could have cheered, but it was in a busy shop, so I just grinned like a fool!! You're right, miamirocks, they look amazing together!! Can't wait for January!! I'll scan it and post the image if I can. I always loved that promo with the green shirts. Loved Calleigh'smake-up, and Horatio looked so yummy!!
I remember HCrazy making a manip of the 'green shirts' promo, and it looked so cool!! You can see it on her site, as well as many other hot manips of our favourite couple!!

Before I go, I come bearing gifts for you all! Some caps of some DuCaine moments that will always live on, no matter what. And I believe that the longer we have to wait, the more sweeter it will be when they finally share a scene together again. And it will be so sweet when they get together at the very end, and we will become END GAME!!!

Hope you all had a good holiday I came upon an article I thought was kinda nice and wanted to share - I believe it's a New Zealand paper (The Sunday Star-Times) interviewing Emily Procter - it's from back in October, and she had some nice things to say about DC - she pretty much defended him after the reporter ripped DC's acting

If you can't get to the link, here's an excerpt - the quote follows the reporter's comments, in which the reporter states that DC is "the only actor I can think of who makes me feel irrationally violent." - YIKES! Poor DC - but fear not, it's Emily to the rescue!

I read that and I just went awwww. It also gave me hope that maybe these lack of scenes does not reflect any behind-the-scenes tension, but instead is the fault of the writers — ARRRG I wonder if they film scenes and then they get cut or something so they can push other ::ahem:: agendas????

After reading spoilers for the Jan. 14 episode, I'm hoping we'll get at least some contact between our beloved couple, at least a phone convo - please!

H's ex-gf and mother of kyle — Julia Eberley — apparently confronts Calleigh about where she can go to file custody papers on Kyle! Now there's an awesome opportunity for some H/C action! Cal's gotta tell him what Julia's planning to do. I hope she kicks her butt!

Anyway, good to see you guys are still keeping the DuCaine love alive - and thanks to EmeraldEyes for the old-school pics - they're much appreciated, especially with the drought we've been having w/H/C scenes

Have a happy new year, guys, and let's hope the writers will get H and Cal in some scenes in 2008!

I hope your right MIAMIROCKS! What I don't understand is why when they were both in Miami filming the finale & premier how schedules conflicted even then. I don't want to get into too much behind the scenes discussion 'cause I know were not supposed to but its all very confusing. Even if it's just because of the writers, thats still completely dumb that they wouldn't give them screen time ...everyone else has "moments"... shippy or not. Thier colleauges, their supposed to have scenes together. I don't really think it's just the writers refusing to give them scenes, I don't believe it works that way. Especially for THIS LONG!!! Well if its schedule conflict..fine..oh well, i'm not sure if i'm buying it, but ok. ***hopes for epi 13***

Good to hear from you I don't know what to make of all this either, but I was happy to read EP's quotes in that article - I can't imagine anyone not liking her, she's so sweet! However, I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes - like I said, maybe they do film scenes, but they're getting cut.

The only good thing — if the "negative" rumors are not true — is that we definitely have DuCaine potential! If it's not a personal conflict, then let's get these two in a freakin' scene please!! Pronto!! 28 episodes is ridiculous!

I think EP seems like a genuine person, and I wish someone would ask her directly about this 28 episode drought. She speaks so highly of DC, I wonder if she would just come out and say something like she's confused about it too, or that she misses having scenes w/him but it's the scripts. Maybe she can explain these mysterious "scheduling conflicts." Anything to address this crazyiness!

I can't wait for the CSI:Miami magazine to come out on Jan. 8 - our beloved couple together again! Someone must recognize the chemistry they have, to put them on the cover - they're obviously the two stars of the show.

As for the next (and possibly last ) new episode this season, I won't hold my breath, but at least Cal will get involved somehow hopefully.

I do feel like we're spinning our wheels a bit here - it's a shame b/c there's really not much to talk about b/c they NEVER have scenes. We'll just have to appreciate the good ol' days until, eventually, they start speaking to each other again on the show.

 

Oh hey everyone... i can see some very famous DuCaine shippers here.. hey gals and hey to those i dunno yet..
Well HCrazy told me about that Emily interview and been kinda relieved from the news according which DC and her were still getting on well ,however now can't help but wondering why so little together scenes and interactions (2 scenes?.) if they're still happy to work face to face?.. this lack of scenes may imo, damage the whole storyline since after all Horatio and Calleigh are #1 and #2 on that show and why writers keep them apart while the characters have been written to be truly close ...well can't help but getting concerned about H/Cal relationship blossoming now..2 scenes together from the season 6 top only, is definitely not enough and alarming..
We all know Emily is a lamb and gets on well with everyone, so wish she didn't state this cus she's really well-mannered and gracious and wouldn't hurt DC's feelings or something...

Oh and hmm needless to say i fully enjoy all of your art girls..whatever Screencaps or Walls...pure T gems.. i miss DuCaine badly but thanx to passionate and dedicated artist/shipper like you ladies...my heart is fullfilled with them...thank you all..
