Hey folks, I used to watch NCIS. Then I stopped. But now I've started agian,.

I'm really excited about the new episode, but I'm bummed it's delayed.... damn strike

But, truthfully, re-runs are good for me... give me a chance to catch up again.

I just got the chance to watch last season's "Dead Man Walking", the one about the Navy Lt. reporting his own murder, and they find out that he's being poisoned with Thalium. Ziva developed feelings for him as she found out that he's the guy she passes by on her morning run every day...

Great episode. :) I liked seeing the softer side of Ziva, and DiNozzo was sweet to try to talk to her, and distracted the doctor long enough for Ziva to take the Lt out of the garden for a walk, even though he was supposed to stay in bed. Ziva saying to the Lt, "Let's get to you to bed" and them laughing about it was really cute too.

Probie is just a term for a newbie. While he's not really new anymore, Tony still calls him that.

Yep Gibbs had the nic-name too.

Gibbs: McGee, how long have I been an agent?
    McGee: 16 years this month.
Gibbs: Wanna take a wild guess what my first partner calls me?

^^^ Sorry to disappoint you Hannah, but I'm glad she's gone *ducks*. Kate was too soft for my liking. Ziva is thougher and fits in just right. She gives the team a bit more spirit. But, hey, that's just me

I hate to say it but no. Kate was good but she never felt part of the team to me. Ziva is totally different but she feels like she's part of the team. What I like about her best is she seems to egg Tony on and she understands Tony as well as Gibbs and McGee. I also like the interaction between Ziva and Abby. There are like parents protecting their child. And in this case the child being Tony.

^ I miss Kate. I liked her. But she and Ziva are both good characters. I don't like one better than the other.

I started watching after Kate died, so my general knowledge is of Ziva. I have watched repeats with Kate in it, but I didn't get the feeling of her being funny or in synch with the rest of the cast. Ziva came in funny because of how she would describe something in the english language and it would be close but not right.

But in honor to Kate and Ziva...

Kate: Thank God, Tony's still alive. Who else can piss people off like that?

Kate: McGee can't you tell when somebody's kidding with you?
McGee: I used to and then I met you guys

Ziva: Our forensic scientist. You'll like her. She's a vampire

Ziva: I stand corrected. It appears he didn't know. I feel like a donkey's butt.
    McGee: Donkey's butt?
Tony: I think she means horse's ass McGee.
    Ziva: Yes. That too

Ziva: It'll be like trying to find a pin in the haystack.
    Tony: ...Needle...
Ziva: But, wouldn't it be harder to find the pin?
    Tony/McGee: No
