"Still Life" discussion Thread **Beware Spoilers**

I wonder if the kid was adopted and was a twin, in which both sets of parents didn't know the kids were twins. The first set of parents did have a kid missing, and the second set has the identical twin and they think it's the missing kid.

 

I once watched a show where something like this happened, and eventually we found out that a doctor stole some eggs from the real mother and when some women werent able to get pragnant, the doctor would insert that lady's eggs in these women. The lady didn't give consent to use her eggs but the doctor did it anyway. All the kids looked alike and had the lady's DNA but the other women gave birth to the kids. It's just amazing what people would do for money

Yes, I'm the same Kristen999 over at ff.net. Had a screw up with my password over here long time ago and had to add an extra 9 to my name. LOL. Thanks for the kind words, but as I said before no matter what...we other get another glimpse inside Nick's house..yea! (Since GE was directly involved in what was put in the sets) or she goes by the lab, which man on man, that'll be a sight to be hold.

Holy cow...this is going to be one hell of an episode. Just seeing "Kelly Gordon" in the cast list sends shivers down my spine.

Lol, I would like to see that as well. There's something so absurd and ironic about that situation. But really, as much as I'd love to see Nick's house again, I really want to see him having to react to Kelly and/or the tape in public, and his co-workers picking up on his PTSD.

The case itself sounds very interesting. I thought the last shot in the promo with the kid behind bars was...creepy.

On a side note, do we know for sure that the mustache will be gone? Not that it'll bother me too much if it's not, I just hate getting my hopes up for nothing. >_<

 

Oh, okay, cool. I thought I heard it would be gone either by episode 9 or 10, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the info!

The whole idea of Kelly Gordon visiting Nick sounds screwy.Don't you recall that she hated Nick and wished him dead??

 

I think she's just a bit mixed up, I mean she DID take the time to listen to him while in prison...

 

Gotta agree there. Was she released on bail or something? If she was smart, she wouldn't go near him since she probably knows as well as anyone that if she visits him with the intent to kill him that she'll be locked away for even longer. Not to mention, I think she's smarter than to visit him at the lab unless she really is a glutton for punishment. She's not "let's chat over coffee and make up" type either since she'd rather chew off her own limbs first. But other than trying to kill him, what would be her motive? Even if she did know who the accomplice was, why would she waste her precious time telling him when she hates Nick so much? Makes no sense no matter how you look at her.

 

Well, at this point we still know very little about the kind of person Kelly Gordon is beneath the bitter, hardened shell, so there's all kinds of possibilities as to how this storyline might play out. I don't think her bitterness in "Grave Danger" was directed at Nick personally in any way, and I took her smile at the end to mean that what Nick said got through to her, but you could just as easily argue that she's an evil, scheming psychopath. There's really no definitive proof either way, we'll just have to wait and see which path tptb decides to take with the character.
