Haha! I am not taking sides here, but I just wanted to point out that there was one episode where Catherine did unbutton her shirt to get a perp to talk! Can't remember the episode title, but it was the one where the guy would only talk to Catherine. ^_^

Well, both characters obviously have their... let's say, flaws. Without them, they'd be boring and unrealistic.

Yeah, Catherine unbuttoned her shirt to get answers from this one guy, but it was effective, wasn't it?

And yeah, Sara's sleeping with her boss... Uhh... No comment there.

Well, I'm glad Sara doesn't have to resort to unbuttoning her blouse to get what she wants, and Sara is engaged to her boss & been involved with him for many years..and the've kept it discreet and private.. unlike her cast mate! Cath has been divorced, and with how many guys? HMMM, won't comment there! they are very different both and exciting characters and have their own unique styles!

Personally, I'm kinda disappointed that Sara never unbottoned her blouse for me...ummm...for a suspect I mean.

BTW, what has being with anyone to do with the way one does their job? I think it had more to do with bra size... Seeing how Sofia unbottened her blouse too and she is neither engaged nor divorced. In fact, she's very private about her personal life. Or, to phrase that differently, she has never been given one.

But the topic here was Sara, right?

I believe Sara dropped her clothes for her boss/lover before they were ever engaged...and did so while he was giving her reviews. She purposely broke lab policies along with Grissom...as she was sexually involved with her boss. In reality...I don't see that as any better than Cath getting answers from a witness/suspect to further the case--actually it's worse in my opinion. That is my defense to people bashing Cath.

Heck...not to mention you had Brass ask Sophia to unbutton her buttons on her shirt to go get answers herself!

My point was...that all the characters have flaws...interesting ones at that--and I wouldn't change them because that is what makes them different from one another.

I never said it was a bad thing that some of the ladies show cleavage. Quite the opposire in fact. It's a TV show for Chrit's sake, who cares about little things like that?

So what, Sara didn't show her breasts to a suspect, she had TWO shower scenes though over the years (while Cath had only one, Sofia none at all), I'd say that makes up for it :devil:

:lol: Excellent point, Waiting. Sara sure stepped into that one. Didn't she?

The fact of the matter is: Grissom and Sara should never have become involved. His romantic attachment to her could affect what he writes on her evaluation forms. (Sleep with the boss, get a good review; maybe even get picked to be the lead CSI on cases over someone else who is more capable, level-headed and professional.) Not only that, but they have set a poor example for the other people in the lab. Apparently, another couple have started an inter-office romance. Gee! I wonder who inspired them? I wonder why they thought they could get away with it? I wonder if they'll invite Grissom and Sara, their inspiration, to the wedding?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The "CSI" romances should have been left to the fanfiction realm. At least fans know how to right good romances. The Grissom/Sara romance never should have taken place on the series.

As far as Catherine is concerned: Yes, she has been known to date and sleep with several men. But as far as we know, she has never slept with a co-worker or a superior. That doesn't make her promiscuity okay. It does, however, make her situation drastically different from Sara's.

This thread has been off topic for some time...doesn't any of the mods feel the need to step in? Seeing how they are so eager to enforce certain other rules...
