I think the "new girl" you're asking about is the AV specialist-character name Samantha Barrish. The actress' real name in Jessica Szohr. They are introducing her in the next epi. This new addition made me wonder if they were getting rid of Dan Cooper. There is an epi where DC is subject to some sort of suspicion.

This looks like it could be a very good episode. Of course that is based on the promo and they can trick you with those.
