Songs for the Characters

I am utterly in love with this song by Savage Garden. I think that it would be good for Sara, explains her past with her parents and all.

And she takes another step
Slowly she opens the door
Check that he is sleeping
Pick up all the broken glass
And furniture on the floor
Been up half the night screaming
Now it's time to get away
Pack up the kids in the car

Another bruise to try and hide
Another alibi to write
Another ditch in the road
You keep moving
Another stop sign
You keep moving on
And the years go by so fast
Wonder how I ever made it through

And there are children to think of
Baby's asleep in the back seat
Wonder how they'll ever make it
Through this living nightmare
But the mind is an amazing thing
Full of candy dreams and new toys
And another cheap hotel
Two beds and a coffee machine
But there are groceries to buy
And she knows she'll have to go home

Another ditch in the road
You keep moving
Another stop sign
You keep moving on
And the years go by so fast
Wonder how I ever made it through

Another bruise to try and hide
Another alibi to write
Another lonely highway in the black of night
There's hope in the darkness
I know you're gonna make it

Another ditch in the road
Keep moving
Another stop sign
You keep moving on
And the years go by so fast
Silent fortress built to last
Wonder how I ever made it

Savage Garden always have good lyrics but the way they sing irritates me
One more for Nick :
"Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" - Chevelle

[/i]Some will learn; many do.
Cover up or spread it out.
Turn around, had enough,
Pick and choose or pass it on.
Buying in, heading for
Suffer now or suffer then.
It's bad enough
I want the fear... need the fear

[Pre-Chorus]
Cause he's alone (he has become)
He's alone (he has become)

[Chorus:]
Well if they're making it, making it
Then they're pushing it, pushing it
And they're leading us along
The hassle of all the screaming fits
That panic makes remorse

After all, what's the point?
Course levitation is possible.
If you're a fly; achieved and gone
Theres time for this and so much more.
It's typical - create a world
A special place of my design
To never cope or never care just use the key

[Pre-Chorus]
Cause he's alone (where have we gone)
He's alone (where have we gone)

[Chorus]

Over and Over a slave
Became
Over and Over a slave
Became
Over and Over a slave
Became
Over and Over a slave
Became

[Chorus x2][/i]

OOh one more!! This one's for SidlePriders:
This song is AWESOME!!
Screenwriting an apology - by Hawthorne Heights
She called last night still waiting for a reply.
This static contact is pulling us apart.
Please hang on tight,
I'll see you through the night.

You have me still be because I'm breathing,
Although it has slowed down.
Please don't cry because I'm leaving.
I hope I see you soon.

Exchange the sunshine for brown eyes and dark skies,
Replace this dull life with you.
I Know it's tomorrow,
She's waiting for something to feel alive.

You know me too well,
She's sorry and I can tell.
Scene missing, fade to black.
You're acting all this out again,

Just wake me when it's over,
When the curtains raise,
It's time to move on.
Exit now, credits rolling,
The girl who stole my heart.
The one that got away...

You know me too well,
She's sorry and I can tell.
Scene missing, fade to black.
You're acting all this out again, again,

You have me still be because I'm breathing,
Although it has slowed down.
Please don't cry because I'm leaving.
I hope I see you soon.

You know me too well,
She's sorry and I can tell.
Scene missing, fade to black.
You're acting all this out again,

Nobody's Home: Avril Lavigne*

I couldn't tell you why she felt that way,
She felt it everyday.
And I couldn't help her,
I just watched her make the same mistakes again.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Open your eyes and look outside, find the reasons why.
You've been rejected, and now you can't find what you left behind.
Be strong, be strong now.
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Her feelings she hides.
Her dreams she can't find.
She's losing her mind.
She's fallen behind.
She can't find her place.
She's losing her faith.
She's fallen from grace.
She's all over the place.
Yeah,oh

She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah

*This is a Sara song

I like by Katy Rose it could be a sara to grissom song...

I wanna live before I die
So don't say I have to cry on
One more freezing floor
I ask you to open the door
And see how things could have gone
The reason that it took so long
Before you could figure out
That for so long I was about to break
And there were no arms to keep me
From harming me and now I'm searchin back to see
How I never tried to ask for some sympathy
'cause no- nobody wants to ride with me too far
'cause I might trip away
But in your arms I'd rather stay

You might just turn into something I like
You might just turn into something I like
You might just turn into something I li-li-li-li-li-li-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
You might just turn into something I

Want to dream about
Something I can't live withouit
My foot is in your hand
I want you to understand
How I could be confused
Right after being used
But still your here in spite
When I close my eyes to dream at night
I've gotta keep my pants on
I gotta check my pulse before I've gone too far away
To hurt so i think I'll stay around to hear ya breath
Saying all those words to me
Unraveling my fantasy while I drink
My oleander tea

You might just turn into something I like
You might just turn into something I like
You might just turn into something I li-li-li-li-li-li-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
You might just turn into something I liii.... Yea-yea-ea-ea-ea-aa
You might just tur into something I like
You might just turn into something I like
You might just turn into something I like

"My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas reminds me of Cath... I have no idea why but it does. I'm thinkin' maybe it was because it was on the season six premeire(sp?) and she was in that scene. IDK.... but it does... LOL.

I'm not the biggest fan of hip-hop or rap, but one time I heard the person next to me say

"I'm going to shoot whoever wrote that song".

jorja_fan86 you beat me to it. "Nobody's Home" is a perfect Sara song.
Here's another Sara song: read the lyrics to find out why

Silent Screams - by Stutterfly
Can't take my life without a fight,
Don't kill my soul,
You have no right,
I feel, (I feel) the pain inside,
I see, tears in your eyes
I want, (I want) to see the light,
Mother, I say goodnight.

You stole my life,
Ripped my body apart,
A silent scream from my lungs,
You stopped my beating heart.

I feel, (I feel) the pain inside,
I see, tears in your eyes
I want, (I want) to see the light,
Mother, I say goodnight.

Please let me choose
if I want to live,
I was alive
I had no choice
I cried out loud,
No one heard my voice,

I felt, (I felt) the pain inside,
I saw, (I saw) tears in your eyes,
I wanted, (I wanted) to see the light,
Mother, I say goodbye.

Now here's a song I used to listen to, when I was crazy....but the lyrics are good. Catherine to Warrick.

Everytime Lyrics

Notice me
Take my hand
Why are we
Strangers when
Our love is strong
Why carry on without me?

Everytime I try to fly
I fall without my wings
I feel so small
I guess I need you baby
And everytime I see you in my dreams
I see your face, it's haunting me
I guess I need you baby

I make believe
That you are here
It's the only way
I see clear
What have I done
You seem to move on easy

And everytime I try to fly
I fall without my wings
I feel so small
I guess I need you baby
And everytime I see you in my dreams
I see your face, you're haunting me
I guess I need you baby

I may have made it rain
Please forgive me
My weakness caused you pain
And this song is my sorry

Ohhhh

At night I pray
That soon your face
Will fade away

And everytime I try to fly
I fall without my wings
I feel so small
I guess I need you baby
And everytime I see you in my dreams
I see your face, you're haunting me
I guess I need you baby

This is so a Sara song

She don’t want nobody near
But she can't get away from that
They appear and disappear
And they all have got strings attached
Pretty soon they've got you hanging on the line
Pretty soon they’re singin’ one by one, the same old rhyme
They say, "I'm all right, I just can’t get home tonight."

She don't want nobody home
’Cause it's a little too crowded there
She don't want to be alone
So they just keep pourin’ in
Pretty soon they've got her headed for the door
She comes home to find that they’re not hangin’ round no more
She says, "I'm all right, you just can’t get home tonight."
Don’t you wonder what she looks like in the light?
She says “I’m all right, I just can’t get home tonight.”

Pretty whitewashed lies, endless alibis,
And reasons that need cleanin’ every night
Half a world away, you can't wash away
The stain of her deceivin’
And the things that you could not believe in

Well, she don't want no one around
’Cause she don't want anybody to see
What she looks like when she's down
’Cause that’s a really sad place to be
Pretty soon she gets them crawling up the walls
Then she wonders why they beg her please, then never call
She says, "I'm okay, it's all right, hey, look who’s on TV tonight.”
She says, "I'm all right, I just can't get home tonight."
Don’t you wonder why it’s dark outside at night?
She says “I’m all right, I just can’t get home tonight.”
She says “I’m all right, I just can’t get home tonight.”

It's "She Don't Want Nobody Near" by Counting Crows.
