CSI Files

Captain
A new magazine series will take fans behind the scenes of the hit CSI franchise.

Coming this fall, Titan Magazines is going to start offering a series of issues that delve into all three CSI series. A new magazine will come out every two months, and the focus of each issue will rotate between the three shows. The first edition will focus on the original CSI series.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation magazine is not the first of its kind to give fans a peek into the world of CSI. As CSI Files reported back in 2005, British fans of the original series had the opportunity to subscribe to CSI: The Official DVD Collection. Each issue of this magazine came with a DVD that contained two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. CSI: The Official DVD Collection has finished its run now, and while Titan's magazine may not offer DVDs to go with each issue, it does boast content that will interest fans of the franchise.

Each issue of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation magazine will give insight into how the CSI series are made. The magazines will include exclusive articles about the characters as well as interviews with the actors themselves. Not only will each issue include the faces that fans are used to seeing on screen, but they will also get a chance to see what goes into the shows behind the scenes. The first edition of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation magazine will contain interviews with William Petersen (Gil Grissom) and Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), as well as a CSI glossary and an explanation of some of the techniques used on the show.

Information about CSI: Crime Scene Investigation magazine (and how to subscribe) can be found at Titan Magazines.

It ddn't say in the article, we'll have to wait till the first issue. I looked at the price for subscribing and nearly fell over 6 issus for 40 bucks...I get a better deal with my Rolling Stone I think I'll wait till they come to the bookstore near me.

This is so sweet!

I get Titan's '24' magazine and love it. While sometimes the info is kind of old since they write it in advance, it's still nice to see it. :)

*nods* That was the problem with the other mags too, they were a tad expensive. But it's better now that I only need one rather than two.

Hey, what a cool idea! But it's a bit expensive, I'm lucky if I have $4, let alone $40. I told my mom that I want a subscription to it for my birthday though, so maybe she'll come through for me...

Well, they finally came out with a magazine. I used to look at the bookstore every time I went in, expecting one to show up. It's very lucrative and alot of shows have them. Too bad, I barely care about the show now.......

Ugh... So i clicked on the link started to get excited and then realised that the offer is only open to USA and Canadian fans...... :( :(

It was a magazine with DVD. The CSI Files News column mentioned updates every so often. For example:

11/05/05: Now available in the United Kingdom is the Official CSI DVD Collection magazine, featuring articles on the genetic analyser and celebrity killers, as well as an interview with CSI researcher and star David Berman (David Phillips). The accompanying DVD includes the episodes "Revenge Is Best Served Cold" and "The Accused Is Entitled."

10/16/05: Now available in the United Kingdom is issue 22 of CSI: The Official DVD Collection. The magazine includes articles on the lab kit, corpse analysis, and the phenomenon of desert drowing, as well as a DVD containing the episodes "Cats in the Cradle" and "Anatomy Of A Lye."

08/11/05: Issue 18 of the British CSI Magazine will feature Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) on the cover. Inside the mag are articles on the lie detector, real-life CSI Robbie Dahn, and a guide to the two episodes on the accompanying DVD, "You've Got Male" and "Identity Crisis."

Yeah thats correct- hmm didnt I say that? Its a dvd collection with a magazine thrown in. Sadly I only became a fan a few months ago and there not publishing them anymore. As far as I know there not...... I cant see them being advertised in the shops.

I'm used to buying tv show magazines like; Buffy and Angel, Charmed and even Star Trek ones... Newsagents sells them for under five pounds...

Migth as well just wait for someone to sell them on ebay.
