That is totally how Vartann is. He wouldn't say much in a letter to her knowing Catherine deserves more than what he can write

Hey you all!!! I know I haven't been to the thread for ages, but life got in the way!! I am so glad to see you again!

I was watching Bullet runs through it (both I and II) the other day, Vartann is soooo cool, even under pressure, when the Internal Affairs guy tries to corner him. I wish he comes back in S8!!!
And after all the tragedies in Cath's life, she deserves a guy to provide some tenderness, security and stability, a guy like Vartann!! (In Bodies in Motion he shows how he's fond of marriage with his being so happy when Warrick tells the news...I know Cath wasn't so thrilled, but i believe she has to get on with her life )

I started that a while ago on how to get him to come back.
I would love too see them together.
I think we decided that they are having a secret affair and he is on days. That's why we never see him

I wish that was true!!! That's actually a brilliant idea...
Now that we are in the subject, how come Cathrine, who is so aware of how sexy she is and occasionally flirts a tiny bit, is so professional around Vartann??? Maybe because they try very hard to hide their secret affair!!!

Ok, since we're talking about fiction here : What if the scene starts with Vartann, holding a gun and entering a motel room ( to clear a path for Sara -CSI on the scene-), all dressed up as usual, light grey shirt, grey suit *sighs* because they had an anonymous call about an assault...and then on the floor he sees Cath , unconscious, he's in a shock, forgets all about his being a detective and rushes to revive her with CPR , she wakes up and returns the...CPR

Ok, ok, i know i'm completely and utterly out of line here!!!!
