I'd agree in a heartbeat! Except, in my personal opinion, The Matrix, Spider-Man 2, and Gladiator would be higher up on the list...though you have to admit that Die Hard sort of defined the action movie as we know it today.

I agree on "Die Hard" (the third one is my favorite). It's the best action movie made. And "Terminator 2" is also great! I'm not a big fan of "The Matrix" tough.

Yeah, The Matrix should def. be number one in my opinion, and Spider-man 2 should be somewhere in the top ten.

Oooo how pleased am I to see Die Hard at number 1. Its in my top 5 films from any genre, as cheesey as it may be, its a classic.

I must have lived a sheltered life though as I've only seen 4 of those listed films

Oh and 4ENSIX How much do I love your Avatar Icon??? Its bloody beautiful <3<3<3<3 :p

I need to get to the movies more..I've only seen about three of those listed. How come Pirates of the Caribbean isn't on there? And personally Spiderman 1 and 3 were better than 2.

I agree with Die Hard being a great action movie. I am not so sure about Saving Private Ryan being an action movie. I see that more as a drama.
Spiderman 2 is my favorite of the 3, so I agree with that choice.
I do think a Pirates movie should have been on the list.

Almost...I would almost agree with the list...
I'm not really a fan of The Matrix..
And Gladiator should have been higher up on the list...
    The Incredibles?!?!WTF!
If that's considered an action movie, then i want Lord Of The Rings:Return Of The King in there!
Heck, even Ghostbusters can be in there!

Lethal Weapon... #24??? WTF!? That's one of the best action movies I've seen! Well, I prefer LW to the other 24, except for #1.

Agree Die Hard is the greatest action flick ever...but Lethal Weapon should be much higher and 2 should be on there. So should Die Hard 2,3,&4.

And all of the Spiderman movies IMO should not be on any lists of great action flicks. to me they were just boring, I guess I don't like spidey. And i don't really see SPR as an action film...its more a drama.
