sorry this next bit is short but i feel has some meaning to it. the rest of the part will be up tomorrow after i sort out my car.
The next day I woke up nausea and headed downstairs to the kitchen where I found Niko raiding the fridge. There was only one thing really that I was looking for and that was some ginger beer. I was one thing Sofia had told me about that would help with morning sickness. I really needed to talk to her or Sara about other ways to deal with it but I couldn’t at the very moment because nearly everyone was still asleep. “You know this is becoming a bit of a habit” I said in a whisper to Niko. He set his pile of food down on the table and poured out two glasses of ginger beer. “One for you and baby” Niko smiled. “How did you?” “I work in the medical lab. Don’t tell mom and dad. I saw your name on a test bag and I was the one that tested it.” “Thanks Niko. Really what are your dreams?” “I want to be a DNA analyst. I have been taking night classes at the university; I’m hoping to start full time next semester.” “It will be good to have you in the area. So I guess you have been up all night.” “Yeah I have a test after break. A very big one.” I hugged him. Niko was probably one of the most trusting people that I had ever met. Even though he was younger we still covered for each other when things were to happen with out the parents knowing. “How’s Alex?” “We broke up last Thursday. She wanted to sleep with me, but I said no and I kept saying no. She didn’t like it and dumped me. But hey it was for the best.” “Any girl who pushs you for sex isn’t worth the effort. I’ll keep your secret and Niko it’s twins.” “Do you really mean what you preach?” he asked as I heard faint footstep coming our way. “I mean it. Any girl who pushes you for sex isn’t worth the effort.” That’s when Sara walked through the backdoor with Harley in her arms. She ad just caught the end of our conversation.
