The 'What I Learned Today' Thread

I learned that some doctors are really stupid, some people will laugh about anything and everything, and it doesn't start raining until you go outside and the rain will stop when you open your umbrella.

 

I learned that when you leave something in the freezer unwraped for even just a night, it sitll gets freezer burnt.

I also learnt if you go running for a really long time on an empty stomach, you can feel like your going to throw up for a while!

 

Today I learned that when you are sick, sometimes the best thing you can do is stay home and sleep.

 

Today I learned that obstacle courses are just that: courses of obstacles. But, with help from a "platoon" of friends, I can conquer anything.

Doesn't that give you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside?

 

Today I learned that a day after 1 hour of non-stor running, push ups and sit ups, a half our of soccer and two hours of softball, you're going to be sore. :lol: Ouch.

 

I don't think this is what DDmeant when started this thread. We had talk about this also and it's rather spammy especially when people post "I learnt that water is wet" type of things.
