It's a very real possibility. Which sucks, because I'm sure the writers saw from her very first episode that Angell had potential as a long-term character, and that Emmanuelle was a great catch. To lose her would suck. I'm sure we'd see a new detective or two next season in the same capacity on the show, but I really like Angell--and we've seen her in more episodes than we did any of the other recurring detectives (if I remember correctly), even Maka (who was only in four episodes, I believe). That being said, if Emmanuelle feels that another role would be better for her career, I'm certainly not going to hold it against her. I'll just sit over here in my corner and cry for my lost amor. I adore Stella, but Angell is my girlcrush--it's not all about the boys, you know.
^^ I'm with you guys. I totally think that CSI: NY should book her up to a main character on the main credits. If they don't, they're going to lose her just like Maka! I've quietly been hoping for that ever since her 4th/5th appearance on the show. I think losing Emmanuelle would be a big loss, not only because she is so utterly, ridiculously beautiful, but because she's a great actress too. She may not have had much to work with so far on NY, but in everything other piece of her work I've watched, she's been awesome, no matter how lame everything else around her might possibly be. There's just something about her that radiates when she's on screen, and again, it's not just her looks, but she commands your attention when. There is such a great vibe around her, and she fits it so well with the rest of the cast. Part of me was feeling, no matter how much I wanted it, that it might be a little too soon for the show to consider adding her to the main cast ala Louise Lombard, but if there's the slightest chance she might get a better offer, I think they should just snap her up. I got the feeling right off the bat that they intended to make a bigger deal out of her character than some of the recurrers (is that even a word?) in the past, so why not start developing her a bit sooner than they intended? Show Emmanuelle that there are bigger plans for Jennifer in the pipeline, anything to make her stay! Heh, I have half a mind to start sending letters to CBS asking for her to be made a regular. Another 3 episodes without Angell? I hope she's involved with most, if not all of the rest of the season after that little spell. Is it just me who finds it hard to believe that there are 30 women in the world hotter than our Emmanuelle? I think not. Gun!porn time: And any excuse to post this one again: RAWR! Ooh, I'd almost forgotten that she was going to be on there this week. I thought it was last week, so my brain just threw away the information after I learned that it wasn't. :lol: I'm sure she'll be great on there, but I really wish we'd see her again on NY. I doubt that we will, though--it seems like Angell is gone for good. But if she thinks that it's best for her career, like I said before, I can't blame her.
It's too bad Angell's time ended prematurely. I think she was supposed to be on longer--Stella's references to her in "The Ride In" sugges to me that the NY producers intended to have her around, but I imagine that Emmanuelle probably had some better opportunities offered to her. And I don't blame her either...Angell got little development, though what we saw of her offered great potential. It's too bad, but I blame the writers for this one, for not giving her more and thereby giving her a reason to stick around.

If this has already been posted I apologize, but I found this rather interesting. Yesterday I was playing NFS Carbon on PS2 for the first time and Emmanuelle randomly appears on the screen! It's those warnings where they say to drive safe since it is a racing game. I was like "That's Angel!!" So yah I thought that was kinda cool
I saw Emmanuelle paying the bills in a movie called "Cerberus" on the SciFi channel this past weekend. I say paying the bills because the movie was... bad. I couldn't even watch it for her sake.
You know, I have yet to watch that episode of "Supernatural." And I've heard nothing but good things about her part on the show. I was checking to see if Emmanuelle was going to be on tv any time soon (click here to see her listings), and it actually lists her as being in an upcoming episode of NY. Granted, last time she was listed she didn't actually end up in the episode, but I wonder... People told me that she'd announced that she was no longer on NY, but I've never seen anything to indicate whether or not that's actually true.
