    Congrats csi_fan_uk that was a superb icon....
    didn't I tell you I'd be out first round....:lol: :lol: gone out to some AMAZING icons....

    can anyone give me tips on resizing without distorting it as that seems to be one of the main reasons i was voted out. thanks :)

    csimonkey, I reccomend cropping the image before resizing. That helps a lot :)

    I shall post the new challenge before I go to bed :p

    Challenge #2- Marg Helgenberger

    Jorja came first so you all had to have known Marg was coming! :D This time the pics are definitely not small :p

    RULES
    - Your entry must not exceed 100x100px or 40kb and must be in jpg, png or gif format.
    - Please don't post your icon anywhere else until this challenge is over.
    - To submit your entry, PM me quoth_the_raven with both the image and the URL if possible.
    - When submitting your entry, please label it LIMS Challenge #2 or something like it.
    - You may only use the pics provided below to make your icon.
    - Animations are not allowed.
    - Please keep in mind that you are only entering one icon ;)
    - The challenge will close Saturday March 17th

    RESTRICTIONS
    The following is prohibited from being used in this challenge:

    - COLOR LAYER (adjustive or otherwise) This means you may not use any adjustive color layers in the making of your icons. So color burn, soft light, etc with colors is prohibited.
    - ANIMATIONS

    Everything else (textures, brushes, font, selective color [no layers] is allowed.

    Let's see what you can all cook up :p Only one restriction other than animation this time, I'm cutting you all a break :D

    EDIT: So I guess "Overlays" are prohibited aswell?

    Aw, letsdance, unfortunately you can't jump in this challenge, cause that's a special one.
    It's the spirit of the LIMS - LIMS means: Last Icon Maker Standing.
    We started with 23 competitors (you can see the list on the first page) and during each round two icon makers will be voted off, so in every round there will be less and less competitors until the last one is filtered out.
    Hope this wasn't too confusing, feel free to ask further questions ;)

    Oh, and Lauw: Happy Birthday! Hope you have a good one! :)
