Whilst I love Eva Green and the character of Vesper Lynd ..... her appearing in a flashback in the next film? Just not very Bond-like for me. And if it is true that Bond 22 will be a sequel of sorts then it looks like James Bond really is going in a whole new direction .......

Hmm, I never thought of it that way. Even when Bond's wife died they never brought her back. Then again, maybe the flashback of Vesper will be of great significane of Bond 22. Anything could change during production so we'll see :).

She will play in the next movie in flashbacks to explain her story better.
Did you know that Maud Adams also played in A View to a Kill as and extra?

That's what I figured. Maybe we'll get some more insight into the fact as to why she removed that dolphin necklace besides the fact that she begun to fall for Bond. She left a lot of unanswered issues that I'm dying to know about & I'm sure Bond would like to learn something as well.

I had no idea that Maud Adams was in that 007 film as well. Maybe I did see her but my memory is horrid so who knows . I guess the producers & such really took a liking to her...

According to imdb.com, Maud Adams played a woman in Fisherman's Wharf crowd in an uncredited role. She happened to be visiting San Francisco when the film was in production there. Roger Moore got her to appear as an uncredited extra in a crowd scene, making her the only actress to appear in 3 Bond films (excluding actresses in recurring roles).

So Roger's connections got her a role as an extra in the film? Hmmm, me thinks Roger might've had a thing for Maud if he wanted to have her in another Bond film with her .

Here are some funny quotes from various Bond films I figure I'd share:

    Goldfinger

    (After electrocuting an assailant.)
    Bond: Shocking. Positively shocking.
    ------
    Thunderball

Domino: I don't want him to risk losing you, Bond.
Bond: Well, I don't want to risk losing me, either.
    ------
    You Only Live Twice

(As Tiger is showing Bond the shooting cigarettes)
Tiger: It can save your life, this cigarette.
Bond: You sound like a commercial.
    -----
    On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Draco: May I introduce my daughter, Teresa.
    Bond: Contessa..!
Tracy: Mr. Bond and I have already met.
Bond: But each time is a renewed pleasure. Madame always makes one feel so welcome!
    (Tracy leaves)
Draco: She likes you! I can see it.
Bond: You must give me the name of your oculist.
    -----
    Moonraker

Hugo Drax: Why did you break up the encounter with my pet python?
Bond: I discovered it had a crush on me.

Hugo Drax: Take good care of Mr. Bond. See that some harm comes to him.

Bond: (pushes Drax into an airlock) Take a giant step for mankind.
    ------
    The Living Daylights

Koskov: I'm sorry James. For you I have great affection, but we have an old saying: "Duty has no sweethearts"!
Bond: We have an old saying too, Georgi. And you're full of it!

(A policecar passes Bond's car and turns back)
Bond: Looks like they've found us.
    (Bond opened the control buttons)
Police: Pull over to the side and stop!
(Bond waves his hand and activated the laser beam to cut the policecar in half, while Smoke emitting inside the police car, one policeman steps on the brakes and half of the car was damaged)
    Kara Milovy: What happened?
    Bond: Salt corrosion!

Can't believe that 'Casino Royale' is the first Bond film to be officially released in China! Finally!

^ That's a surprise to me as well. 20 Bond films before it too. Maybe they'll allow the other ones to be shown too. I mean, Goldfinger was one of the more 'tamer' ones...

Woooo congrats to Eva Green for being the winner of the Orange Rising Star Award at the BAFTA's yesterday :D!

    Source

I knew all that excess voting paid off . I'm so happy she won as she's so deserving of that award.

I wonder if a clip of her getting the award is available anywhere...

I'm currently reading Dr.No & I think I discovered a big difference between the Bond girls in the novels & the Bond girls in the films. The Bond girls in the novels are much more um, open about their sexuality, Honey Chile Rider especially . I thought it was Bond who did all the chasing haha. In the film versions they're more reserved & conservative & it's usually them who gives into Bond. But in the end Bond is a ladies man .

There where already rumours about Goran Visnjic's departure on ER because of the audition he did to get the role of James Bond 007. They loved him so much, that they decided to cast him as the villain in the 22nd Bondmovie. These were all rumours, but since he's leaving now, I guess we can see him next year in the new bondmovie. He will be casted as Vesper's lover who died

I saw Casino Royale Saturday night. My sister rented it.
I used to LOVE Bond films. But lately they have been stale, old and predictable.
    but THIS ONE...
I loved it. I never thought Daniel Craig could be a good James Bond. I was hoping Clive Owen would be the new James Bond because his sense of humor is razor sharp and would fit into the peronality.

    Anyway,
I'm so glad Daniel Craig is the new Bond. Beside the obvious eye candy  ;), his harshness and grit make him the perfect Bond
And yes, jorja fan and allmaple I loved the scene where he was coming out of the ocean

    OMG is right.!!!

Definitely. He brings a freshness to the character. And, being a longtime Bond fan, that really rocks.
