I love the bit from Hung out to dry when he remarks about how the victim probably didn't feel anything due to her blood alcohol level being so high and went on to say how the highest his once was .23 when he was celebrating his first divorce and he feel down a flight of stairs and couldn't feel a thing. Classic Sid! XD I agree Sid needs more screentime, at the moment he's one of the main reasons I'm watching CSI:NY. As I'm a Brit, Hung out to dry was shown yesterday, so I was thrilled to see my favourite medical examiner again!

Re: Sid Hammerback. Yep, there were a couple of audience shots during the Best Song oscar and there he was! He was sitting with a bunch of people, one of whom I think was the producer for "The Departed" but I could be wrong.
Re: Sid Hammerback. Yep, he was sitting next to an Oscar winner. I can't remember who though... But he was smiling! I was so happy to see him there! I saw Gary Sinise too(obviously, since he was nominated for the role of Lt. Dan in Forest Gump).

Re: Sid Hammerback. It sounds like Sid has some promising scenes coming up in the next few episodes from what we can read in the Hill Harper interview. He's the coroner that has lasted the longest on that show, which is quite a testament to his popularity as a character. Joy totally *owns* Hammerbeck, and he is fantastic!
