Congratulations to Louise on landing the starring role in a new series! A woman this beautiful, talented and charismatic certainly deserves to be the Star of the Show, not relegated to second string. I wish her the best of luck in whatever she decides to do! :)

Sofia'll most likely have a hard time dealing with Monster in a box... There are some seriously dark things showing up.

Is it definite on the series yet? Because last I heard, Louise was still under contract for Season 8 with CSI.

That being said, I wonder if we'll get any continuity with Sofia and this episode?

Since Louise Lombard has landed a "pilot" for ABC I think she would still continue to work on CSI Vegas until the show is picked up for sure. Correct me if I am wrong but a pilot does not mean the show has been picked up its just a trial period. I hope her new show makes it to a series however. Woo hoo!

I loved Sofia's role in "Monster in a Box". Drama is Louise's strong point in acting no doubt. She makes you want to reach out and comfort her character. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to deal with a death within the department. We have seen Sofia deal with two deaths. One last season with Officer Bell and now this in Season seven. "What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger," is the perfect quote to fit Sofia in this case I think.

    Oh that's good. Thanks LSB.

I love Louise and I love Sofia, so I don't really want to see her go ;)

Man, I can’t wait to see Monster In A Box, I’m still waiting around desperately just for one of the screencap websites to put them up so I can get some new pics. :(

Now about the pilot show, at least whatever happens with it it’s not like we have anything to worry (or get exited) about for a while yet. I heard something like it won’t get finished or screened till midyear and after that, well…it might get picked up or it might not. And hay, if it does and Louise has to leave, at least that means she’ll probably get an episode devoted to her which is good…you know, as long as she doesn’t die at the end of it. :(

Ok now, random thought here but is anybody else wondering about the title ‘Judy’s Got A Gun’. Is it supposed to be some sort of post-modern appropriation of the Aerosmith song title ‘Janie's Got a Gun’? It sounds like it is because that phrase comes from nowhere else but that song. If you ask me, if they were gonna go for something like that, they should have used the Dalton Trumbo book ‘Johnny Got His Gun’ (how much cooler does ‘Judy Got Her Gun’ sound!)

Hay Drumchik , how about CSI last night. I didn’t even know it was on; I almost missed the whole bloody thing. At least Louise is back on our screens again, thats always a good thing. :)

I've got it taped to watch with mum and dad. I got them hooked on CSI. Problem with Channel 9 is that they shuffle around the times over and over. I think it's concrete that we'll get new episodes on Sundays and repeats on Tuesdays.

Looking forward to seeing more of Sofia - I hope before she leaves (if she leaves) they give her an episode of her own - like Hollywood Brass or Ellie.

Remember, Ellie gave CSI it's first number 1 show ;)

Oh yeah, that’s interesting. Every time I think of Ellie I think of that whole “It wouldn't be difficult to chase her out of town” scene, hee, totally cute.

If we get more Sofia/Brass scenes before the end of the season I’ll be happy. They got more chemistry together (not romantic chemistry, unless your into that of course) then most of the other characters have with each other if you ask me, weather its angst (A Bullet Runs Through It) or funny (I Like To Watch, among others) or just doing the plane police procedural stuff. They got this sort of easy relationship that works so well.

LSB, I fully agree that drama scenes are Louise's forte. She manages to convey emotions subtly but effectively and you're so right about wanting to provide Sofia with comfort.

88Blackbirds, I usually post Sofia screencaps over at the LJ Curtis community. They should be up later today, so if you haven't found them anywhere else until then, you should check it out. :)

Thanks for the tip atfm, I went in there but unfortunatley the screencaps require downloading or something, which I can't do :(. On the bright side I now have a heap of shiny new Sofia icons :D, now all I have to do is work out how to actually put one up .

(wow, these little faces are such fun to use )

Yes, you do have to download them, I'm sorry you can't do that. Until you find more online, here are two caps for you:

No prob. She really looks like she means business. I love her in a ponytail. You're right about the ears, I noticed that recently, too, it's very cute. ;)

Thanks atfm and kaylyne too, for the pics up top. Damn Sofia looks good in black, reminds me of that scene from Poppin' Tags when her and Sara go strutting into that party looking all "glam butch". She's very striking and just a little scary when she’s all business isn't she.
