 Oh My God, poor Stella! I guess we'll have to watch the episode to see why she isn't wearing gloves. If she is, then they must be pretty darn flimsy.

*wonders how easily glass can cut through latex if she was wearing them*

    HIV??? Nooooo!!!! :(

    I hope she doesn't get contaminated :(

Yeah I wanna know about the gloves 'cause in "The fall" in s1 she recommended Mac to use 2 or more pair of gloves.

I doubt she will get HIV, although they'll try to ratchet up some suspense that she might be contaminated, but we already know that she's not going to die.

Well kkennedytx you're right

But they need to make it dramatic, and I'm trying to help them :p :D

Now serious, you're right I don't think she's gonna die, and I thought about it, and maybe it's a normal procedure to make and HIV test when you cut with something you don't know whether is infected or not :)

As a lab geek myself, let me assure you that latex and non-latex (purple nitrile) gloves are not as sturdy as they seem. I've busted gloves just putting them on and taking them off, and I've been doing it for 20 years. Glass will cut them, needles will puncture them and long fingernails can even cut thru them. I'll usually triple up and THEN use tweezers when dealing with busted glass. They're a barrier, not a guarantee.

Ahhh the lab. Where else on the planet can you risk your life for 17 bucks an hour?

$17 an hour? That is an awful lot of money. Why did my sister change her major?

I would love to do this, but don't think this job is right for me.

Yeah, condoms break all the time ;)

Funny... I was just thinking, "That's all? No hazard pay?"

Anyway, I agree with those who don't think that Stella will actually contract HIV, but I'm going to hazard a guess that they will certainly drag it out for a couple of episodes.

Not sure if this has been clarified or not but, this is what I got from TvGuide.com regarding the illusionist:

"Over on New York, a casting call has gone out for an actress who looks like a "younger version of Lindsay." (Hmmm.... ) That same episode will feature an appearance by Criss Angel of Mindfreak fame."

    :)

Wouldn't it be funny if "young Lindsay" is a better actress than Anna?

Why didn't they try to find a younger version of Danny for RSRD?

I agree, 'cause I think I read here that in episode 17 she'd still be in trouble. Maybe she'll have the exam in episode 16 and we'll have to wait til episode 17 to see the results. Or maybe she'll have some kind of treatment because I remember once in ER that Dr. Benton's g/f had contact with a needle with and they had to make her the test and then she had a treatment to prevent something :(

 poor Anna, I still don't get why some people say she's a bad actress, I can't give a suitable opinion because I haven't seen all the episodes where she's been in, but IMO she's not bad, she's normal :p

I think one issue is that a positive is definitive but a negative can be misleading and has to be redone later...although it may just be that it takes a week to get the results or something. Poor girl.
