It's been ages since I've been in this thread! I saw the match Robredo-Federer today and I was bummed to see Tommy losing but he played a good match. Even if Roger was playing below his normal level. I hope Andy kicks his ass in the semi-final to be honest but first things first...Tomorrow I will cheer Rafa on. Vamos!

    Fernando González defeated Rafa. :( :( :(
Do you think Feds will win again?Or maybe Roddick?

OMG what a "slaughter". Poor Andy, actually I thought (that was before today's match of course) that Roddick was Federer's most dangerous rival in the AO. But what the heck happened ?I'm so disppointed. No offense to Haas or Gonzalez but now I can't see how Federer couldn't win the title. I found tennis quite boring now, Federer always wins. Damn !
Roddick's press conference is worth reading btw .

I know, watching the Federer vs Roddick match was like watching a train wreck! He's just unstoppable. But I think if Gonzalez continues to play the way he did against Nadal, he might have a chance. That is if he managed to beat Haas in the semis.

Do you know where can I read Roddick's press conference transcript? :)

Nadal was injured in the match against González so I guess Feds is gonna have it easy to win the tournament.

Sure here it is Andy Rooddick's press conference. He's really relaxed, cool Andy .

Yes Rafa is injured, I love his quote :"I have pain here, in my famous ass !"

So Gonzalez defeated Haas 6/1 6/3 6/1, he only made 3 unforced errors in the whole match . But I still think Federer will win 'quite easily'.

Okay, the French Open starts next Sunday at Roland Garros. I can't wait :D
    Men's Singles
    Women's Singles
Gonna be, once more, a total disaster for the french players so I gotta focus on other players
Do you think Nadal can win the open three times in a row ? That'd be great.

Nadal has a tougher draw than Federer in Roland Garros and despite the fact he defeated Federer on clay in every tournament,he lost the last one in Hamburg.
So I think the French Open is going to be interesting.

Yeh Rafa lost his invicibility on clay, but that doesn't surprise me that much. In Rome he had trouble defeating Davydenko and Hewitt in Hamburg. I still think he shoudln't have played Hamburg.
So what the hell with the French Open ? I hardly saw 2 ENTIRE matches in 2 days
Bloody rain ... is it Wimbledon yet ?
    Congrats to Marat Safin.
I agree with the fact that nadal has a tougher draw this year, usually it's the opposite !
I think Djokovic can do something, I love this player.

    Vamos Rafa!!!!

Im so glad he won but you are right it gets a bit boring after a while

but I dont watch tenis unless he is playing so I dont really mind.

and he seemed so nervous giving his thank-you speech - or was it just me?

Kudos to Rafa, third title in a row...amazing
But it's a bit boring though, come on Federer and Rafa let the other players win sometimes
I wanted Djokovic to win, ok doesn't mind, next year maybe .
I was surprised by the number of unforced errors Federer made, way too many for this genius.
Did you see Rafa singing La Bamba ? Cool
