Didn't I read somewhere that Marc Vann & Billy P were good friends even before CSI came along? I haven't heard anything about members of the cast not getting along.

I remember when Stepmom with Julia Roberts & Susan Sarandon came out a few years back. The two ladies are very close friends off-screen. They both said it was so enjoyable being bitchy to each other on-screen. It solidified their friendship even more doing that.

I agree kaylyne. As far as I know, the CSI cast has actually been mentioned many times as being very close.

cool. thanks. i find it funny. i was asking cause i started an rp, and im friends with the person who is my character's enemy, and it got me thinking about ecklie.
speaking of ecklie, was he ever nice to ANYONE on the team?

There is an old black and white pic of Marc and Billy over on the billypetersen.com website.

I thought Ecklie was fairly nice in the Grave Danger episode.

I think if you look in one of the ES picture threads you can see the photo. You can also see Marc Vann in the first picture located at, Eric Szmanda & The cast of CSI Cooking Class

This probably has been asked numerous times before but I don't think I ever learned the whole story behind this...was Holly Gribbs' death planned originally or did the actress have second thoughts and they decided to up and kill the character and then bring in Jorja?? I'd really like to know what the story behind all of this is.

i have a question....i didn't know where else to post it so...i just watched the cath music video "when you're good to mama" on 'who is keppler.com' and there were two scenes i want to know from which episodes they are
1st cath and warrick are watching a basketball game and bet for a dinner...
2nd nick and warrick are working on a car in the lab, there's a dummy in the car and cath comes in...
i hope you can help me. that would be sooooooo great!!!

the Cath/Warrick dinner bet would be Big Middle, and the gelatin man scene is from Who Shot Sherlock, both from Season 5.

as for holly gribbs i think test audiences didnt like her, so they killed her and brought in jorja fox instead. good call by cbs :lol:

If I remember correctly, it was part of the original script for Holly to get shot, but I'm not sure if they planned for her to die.

well whatever their reasons were i think it was the right decision because for me holly seemed kinda weak....she wouldn't have fit in the team

just one other teeny tiny question...there's is a scene where catherine sits in grissom's office i think and she (almost) starts to cry...then she stands up and leaves...i'm not sure if that's enough information but i hope it is!

Really..? I didn't know that. LOL. I always thought that's how they were playing it out (Holly dying and Sara coming in).

I have an idea of what you're talking about. The scene where she's talking about how well she would be as supervisor and Griss tells her he recommended her, and she got emotional, said "thank you" and left. If that's it, it's from 5x05 Swap Meet .. if that's not what you're thinking about, my bad :lol:
