A lot of those Vacouver things make sense to me 'cause I lived in Kelowna for several years. Ack, we just got news that it's going to be -21 tomorrow, not that its really that cold since we can sometimes get as cold as -30 or 40 here, but still! It was almost warm recently!

^ *snork* I can see you driving one!

Yeah, right now it's like.. crazy windy. Like, that howling wind. And the trees are going nuts and my barbaque covers off again... Mind you, I'm taking this down at 5:30am and I think a vein just burst in the back of my head, so the howling could be from my brain screaming "OMG! YOU HAVE NO CLUE! HAMBURGERS ARE NOT ITALIAN!" O______o

*runs up and pokes Shelbers then runs away*
Holy crap, where's my coffee.... fdhgjhg.... how did we LIVE without it?! D:
    *goes into fetal position*

*passes Palm a coffee* calm down, there's got to be a Timmies around here somewhere. In calgary you're never more then ten minutes from a good cup of coffee.
Really bad winter here in Calgary. No snow since Nov. and it's -20 again (or so I've been told) not a good way to start the new year. grrr. I hate calgary weather.
I was in Kelowna for holidays so I'll post pictures of the massive snow fall they got.

hey now, *pokes Palm back* why am i getting poked...i didn't cause the massive windstorm that kept me up all night. lol.

besides, its edmonton...we're never more than 10mins away from coffee. speaking of...better get those warm, caffeinated beverages ready for the "storm of storms". up to 20cm's of snow and windy as can be....great. oh yeah and cold as hell. good thing its supposed to warm up by the weekend. warm being a relative term seeing as its still going to be about -10. i say anything between 0 and -10 is fine once the mercury drops further than that i tend to hate it.

You know what's sad? My friend has been de-Manitobanized. She's going to school in Victoria, and when she came back to visit, she actually thought it was cold here. Meanwhile, the rest of us were going around with no jackets on.

    Re: Canadian Thread #4

I felt sheepish when my family came back from California a week ago, cause it was -13c and I was freezing!! But for Southern Alberta, -13c is like a December high  When I finally acclimated, I was able to go outside without a jacket.. It's wierd how cold our normal is.. er.. how normal our cold is. something like that
