"Leaving Las Vegas" Discussion **Spoilers**

Grissom telling warrick about being the rock of the team...
and yay! Cath's in charge.

 

According to tvguide.com (which has a "preview of CSI:'s Big Shakeup" on the front page of the site as they call it) and I have what they say. (This isn't what it said in the magazine version, I swear. That version said that he's gonna leave Warrick "in charge" like in 'Ellie' or something like that. But after that episode, would he? Did you see all of the arguments between Nick, Warrick, and Sara in that episode because of it?)

Anyways, from tvguide.com (It was on the Hotlist!):

Goodbye, Grissom. Grissom leaves to go on a four-week teaching sabbatical tonight and his departure is difficult for Sara to accept. (The real reason for the leave is William Petersen's stage appearance in Conor McPherson's Dublin Carol in Providence, R.I.) But the main story centers on Catherine's efforts to prove that a murder suspect who was found not guilty of killing his own mother actually committed the crime and may be responsible for at least two other homicides in a small Nevada town. — Tim Holland

My advice? I think most TV Guide articles on stars are fake, but yes, the 'Billy Petersen's-in-a-play-in-R.I-called-Dublin Carol' is true. (I've always thought magazine articles are fake, even if the magazine is a TV Guide.) And when he said "I'll miss you" last night in one of the promos, my mom and I had a small scuffle on who he was saying it to; she said the team, I said Sara because "Who else is he having a 'secret work affair with?!'" But then I said, "Well, if he's saying it to Greg.... I don't know what I'll do." Because, after all, Grissom is leaving like right in the middle of Greggo's problems! (Actually, I do know what I'll do: I'll cry like a baby. There is NO CSI: WITHOUT GRISSOM!!)

ETA: Grissom/Petersen will probably be back around the first, second, or third week of Feb. Add four weeks to today and you'd get around that time, also around the same time they'd start showing reruns again.

Second week most likely, because in an interview, they said that it takes about a week for them to film an entire episode. So they'd film the "Returning To Las Vegas" epi at the same time as a rerun is airing, and air it in the third week of Feb., most likely.

I put the spoiler in because it concerns possible future epis.

so ... i was reading over these posts and I'd like to go back to the Nick and the moustache ones.... and how he grew it in an espisode. LOL.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS I'M GLAD IT DIDN'T STAY LONGER THAN 3 EPISODES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't like him with it.... he looks much MUCH better with out it.

I'm releaved to learn that Gris is only leaving for four-weeks and that it's not for good. But I'm going to cry anyways.
