Hey guys! I got NCIS on DVD for Christmas!!! It's so good to see those eppys again, with Kate and all! I like her alot (but I still like Ziva more!). Anyways...hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Can't wait for some new episodes!

According to futon critic, nothing new for another two weeks.

 

Here in the United States, tonight is a repeat episode "Deception" from Jan 17, 2006. Next Tuesday is another repeat "Singled Out" from Oct 3, 2006. On Saturday, Jan 13, is yet another repeat "Model Behavior" from Dec 13, 2005. I don't have information beyond that date.

I got season 2 dvd's for Xmas, and just finished watching them. I hadn't seen any of the shows with Kate, except the one where she was killed, I mainly started watching in S3, so it was very strange to watch the shows with Kate instead of Ziva, since she is the character I was used to watching. How does everyone feel about the differences between Kate and Ziva? Both great characters? one better than the other? Things you like/dislike about each of their personalities?

 

I was the same way I started watching in season 3. I like both Kate and Ziva. But I think I like Ziva's character more. I like the harsher edge Ziva has compared to Kate. I can't put a finger on one exact thing that I disliked about kate's character. I just think Ziva is more unlike any of the others.

 

I am in the same boat you are, MBGrissom! I got season 2 for Christmas as well, and like you, I had never seen Kate(for me, I didn't even see Twilight.) I started watching like...the third episode into season 3. I didn't think I would like Kate, at all. But was I ever wrong! I like her, ALOT. I think she has a great heart and a super personality. BUT. She still isn't Ziva. I think Ziva is funnier and she brings SO much to the show. It's one of those deals where you don't even take notice that it COULD be better...until it happens!

I like Kate best, without a doubt. Her chemistry with Tony is so much better than Ziva's.

 

When Kate was NCIS I thought the show was pretty boring. But then I caught an epi with Ziva in it. I loved it instantly. Never missed an episode again
