Eric & Calleigh #19 - Spontaneous Nudity Bound To Occur

Yes, of course. Eric and Calleigh really do want each other. I love that person on some other forum that was like "Get it on already!!!"

 

I think that was Speed, wasn't it? I miss Speed's reactions to Eric and Calleigh. It's like he always knew more than they did. I miss Speed, period .

 

48 Hours to Life? What scene are we talking about here? I swear if they cut something good I'll be pissed off for the rest of the day.

That song is so perfect for them, probably because they are so perfect themselves. Is that why the writers can't get their act together? Does E/C make too much sense for them? I mean, without anybody explicitly trying they have made the perfect platform for a relationship to develop, just by their on-screen chemistry. God, sometimes I think the writers must be damn blind! Now, I'm a terrible writer, but Eric and Calleigh have made even me put pen to paper on occasion. How can they not be motivated to write something for these two?

Do any of you sometimes get really frustrated being a Hip Hugger? I think we get neglected more than any other ship recently. It's most frustrating because TPTB can't (or refuse to) see what we see. It's almost like all the puzzle pieces are laid out perfectly, but some sulky child won't put them together.

And I miss Speed too, he was so much better than Ryan, The Calleigh Hogger. Every time he does his little arrogant routine, I realise how easy it would be for me to accept that he just took a long walk off a short cliff one day and was never seen on the show again. I don't think it was Speed leaving so much, because his death left so much room for angsty love and comforting etc. I think it was Ryan coming in to the show that we haven't quite recovered from.

Woulda been cool to see Lucas & AJ in a non record store setting. But back to the E/C thing... Trust. Yeah, that's it. It's good. Good & Plenty. Indeed.

Frustration? It's beyond that for me. I don't even watch any more. I get it by osmosis thru me mum who passive agressively watches. So far all I've got is: Meh. At least they talk to each other now. Stoopid Greg wannabe.

 

I too want to know what scene in '48 Hours to Life' you are speaking of that was cut out.

There was a scene in 48 Hours To Life in which Valera says that no one can come between Eric and Calleigh. It was really adorable, but it got cut . However, it's good to know that after four years, the writers are still writing stuff like that about them, even if it gets cut. It means it's still in the writers' minds, they just need to listen to those voices in their heads.

 

That Valera thing would have been enough to last me through season's 4, 5, and 6. It sounds beatiful. At least those things are still being floated around though. Not even Donahue can stop the inevitable.

We need elements. Okay, what have we got, just the elf? What about William Shatner? The quote 'Whatchu you talkin' bout Willis?!' should be it it too. Let's make them the most random things possible. Everyone get thinking.

48 Hours was written by Marc Dube and John Haynes, proof that Miller isn't the only E/C shipper. I wonder who the hell keeps cutting all these scenes, though, and I wonder if they're doing it because they think it's too soon.

Frankly, I'm fine with that. I'd rather get E/C at the end of the series than have the writers hook them up now, only to break them up two episodes later. Like Adam said, if E/C hooker up right now, the writers would end them badly. It would be best if it happened next season or the one after that, so that it lasts.

That song is PERFECT! I love Lamb. Every time Gabriel comes on I melt. And Lusty always reminds me of them, too. The official E/C band.

I think they probably are. When they rush relationships, they end up getting ridiculous, and I'm happy to wait, but I think that they've waited long enough to start the ball rolling with these two. I'd love to see them get together now, just to break up, and get back together further down the line, say, at the end. Maybe it's just because I need my angst fix. Either way, judging by the way I react when they just happen to be in the room together, if they ever kiss, hug, admit any kind of attraction to each other or *gasp* something a little more amourous :devil:, it will be the day I have a heart attack. At least I could die happy. :lol:

Agreed. Lamb is THE official E/C band. I might have to write something in conjunction with that song, it' s just too damn perfect to not.

Dude, when Valera says something, we accept it. Valera speaks truth. And if Valera thinks Eric and Calleigh are inseparable, then we bow down to her genius. You know she probably writes E/C porn.

So that's Valera and Alexx. I think they're both rooting for E/C. I kinda got the feeling Speed was, too, underneath the gruffness and all the facial hair, he was a beating, spanking little shipper. Oh, and Tyler, too. But I think Tyler was more Machiavellian about it. He just loved seeing Eric and Calleigh fight.

Sunny, suggest an element for us, before Christmas 2007 comes and goes.
