Yes, absolutely! I like Christmas, but three weeks before is too early. Come on, Sinterklaas has only just passed (Dutch national holiday on 5th of December). :p

I think it starts too early. By the time it gets here you are worn out with it all.

I voted yes, it's really annoying that the Christmas hype starts so early. It seems to get eariler each year.

I'm gonna go with yes, it's annoying. Especially this year, as it'll be the first Christmas without Gran :( and she was always a big part of my family because she lived so close. So yeah, not looking forward to this year, and all the pre-Christmas hype just makes things worse.

I'm sorry for your loss wibble , I hope you manage to have a good Christmas. This time of year is always so difficult, it is my husband's first year without his gran too and I know the family are finding it tough. :(

It would be nice if people remembered what was important at this time of year, things like family rather than all this tacky commercialism...

I also said yes, it starts way to early, I agree with the family thing, I have lost both of my parents and both sets of grandparents, so the holidays are VERY hard to deal with, and seeing all the Christmas crap in Oct just makes it worst to deal with.

It's very hard. Both my grandparents died over the Christmas period, so not only is it hard not having them there for Christmas it's also the anniversary of their deaths. As much as our family get on with Christmas best we can, to be honest, Christmas is not a great time for our family. I also agree with wibble, all the hype really doesn’t help.

Aw, I'm sorry for your loss wibble. :( *huggles* My Grandpa died close to Christmas last year, and it's been pretty hard for everyone in my family. Like Tink said, we try and get on with things as best we can.

I voted yes, that all the fuss starts too early. The one thing I can't stand is hearing Christmas music on the radio in NOVEMBER. Come on people. And now since it's closer to Christmas, being December and all, things get more and more crazy.

I voted yes. You see Christmas items before it's even Halloween.

    *hugs wibbsy* :(
I actually get bored with Christmas before it actually "happens" because of the early ado.

^ Thanks for all the hugs and support, guys :) I know I'm not the only one who will find Christmas a difficult and upsetting day this year.

Time for a new poll I think. This is a bit random, but...

Voted for BBQ because I'm surrounded by familiar people there. Discos can be dangerous, plus I don't like the music

I chose BBQ, I would rather be someplace where I know the people and good food. Plus I can't dance, I'm one of those people with 2 left feet!!
