I watched two movies over the weekend. :)

First one was The Lake House. I thought it was a beautiful film. I must admit I got a little confused in the first 15 minutes or so, but once I got into what was going on, I was really glued to the screen. Unfortunately I found the ending a little bit predictable. Sandra Bullock was awesome. Recommend it if you like romantic films - I was nearly in tears at the end.

The second film I watched was Green Street. I'm not really a fan of these types of movies, but I watched it as my sister gave lent me the dvd and I thought "what the hell". Anyway, the story was basically about football hooliganism. I found it so hard to watch because I just couldn't get into Elijah Wood playing in this sort of role (personally I think someone else would have been better suited), having said that, the story was okay and I enjoyed it to some degree.

I saw Kicking and Screaming over the weekend. It stars Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall. It really is a children's film with a typically obvious happy ending. It is about childrens football (or soccer) leagues. Really wouldn't particularly recommend it as it wasn't funny and kind of dragged. Although my husband seemed to quite like it... :p

I'm watchin' Transamerica right now, and the last few days, I've watched Rocky, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Legend of Zorro Ray and Clerks II.

Out of all those, I'd say Clerks II is the best of the bunch, but Rocky is still cool. I don't think I'd ever seen that one all the way through before, just bits and pieces of it over the years.

Yesterday I saw Bless the Child with Kim Basinger and Jimmy Smits. I really like movies that deal with the apocalypse and the millenium and stuff like that. :)

Just rewatched one of my favorite movies of all time, Frailty! This is one of those thrillers that keeps you on the edge of your seat! And it's not one of my favorites, because Matthew McConaughey's in it either ;)!

"Stranger than Fiction." My fiance took me Wednesday night, our first real date in months. It was really wonderful and lyrical. That's the best way to describe it. I expected a "Will Ferrel" comedy, but that's not what this was. This was funny, but also tragically beautiful. Really, a great watch. I will watch it again!

kitty_koo, we'd like you to post a bit more than the title of the film, for example your opinion about the it in a few lines. Thank you :)

I really enjoyed watching that movie too. It was such a good one. I really loved it.

I think the last movie I saw was Pulp Fiction. Saw it for the 100th time, still liked it. Still one of my favorite movies.

I saw The Holiday today. I was really expecting more, but it was an alright movie.
It was way too wordy IMO. Half of it was "i should stop talking. wait no, i'll keep going." and then the character just kept talking and talking. I left to go the bathroom halfway through, came back, and the same character was still talking in the same scene!
It was a nice story though, I do wish that the stories were connected better, because it felt like 2 different movies half the time.

I bought Gremlins yesterday for 2 dollars and watched it last night with my kids. Both my kids want a "Gizmo" now,, It's a oldie, but a goodie....
