Thanks for the site, that one's funny. Won't it be great if everyone's queer? There'll be no complications then. And I can date Sofia and mom won't try set me up with some random guy she met at the bookstore. My fav quote I've liked since forever is "Trying to define yourself is like trying to bite your own teeth." It's by Alan Watts. I love it so much.

Ok, lets talk about Sofia. What kind of movies do you think she likes?

    A. Sleepless in Seattle (Sappy)
    B. Alien (Sci-Fi) or Lord of the Rings (Fiction)
    C. Movies that stimulate her mind
    D. Cop, Period/Dramas and other movies fall under here. :p

    I'd go for C.

LOL, totally. And movies that stimulate her *cough* ..mind it was?

I can also see her enjoy some meaningless comedy, nothing too silly though.

Okay, my mind just screamed "porn" at that. ;)

How about animated movies? Finding Nemo? No? Just me then. ;)

    Your mind is bad.

Animated? Hmm...don't think so but maybe it's just me thinking those are silly. I know many people who love them, so why not her too...

I would say law enforcement thriller... Something like Red Dragon...

I would also say Batman. Yes, batman. Because we should all love Batman. ^_^

If you didn't say Batman Uriel, I'd die of shock. :p

atfm, you naughty girl you. (You ARE a girl right?) I don't think Sofia's the type who watches that. If that came on the tele she'd take out her gun and shoot the screen to bits. Asta-lavista baby.

I think she doesnt mind watching animated cartoons, but cartoons arent exactly at the top of her must-watch list. I think she likes guy movies - action and adventure. She'd watch them with a can of cold beer in her hand and munch on a large bag of chips or popcorn. She's a total guy. Im sure she likes Speed. And I'm sure she hates Tom Cruise. She watches it for the action, not for that dude who jumps on couches. If some girly movie like Bring It On came on screen, she'd shoot her tv to bits too. I would, but I dont own a firearm.

    Ok, I’m awake now.

I reckon she’d go for movies that stimulate your mind (like me, then we could both sit up late watching them and huggled under a blanket) movies like Being John Malcavitch or Mulhulland Dr or Memento or Donny Darko (Is it just a coincidences that two of four of these film have lesbian content and the other has Jorja Fox. The other one has Maggie Gyllenhaal in it, but I wont get into that now) Or what about musicales, SidLer, you said that she’s “a total guy” and I agree with that, she’d watch guy musicales (not musicale, Rock Opera) like Pink Floyd’s The Wall or Tommy or Rocky Horror. Ok, I’m projecting on to her now.

Oh and my favorite quote is “I can't help looking gay. I put on a dress and people say, "Who's the dyke in the dress?" from Karen Ripley, that’s me down to a T. My high school psychology teacher was actually surprised I turned up to our formal in a dress, I’m like “how gay do you think I am?”

hehe, it's great that you're okay ;) guess, we really can't help it Sofia has that effect on us... :D

thanks LadySaraButterfly for sharing some of your favorite quotes/screencaps in the latest episodes, you're real wonderful for updating us who don't have season 7 yet :)

    *BOING* *thud*

hey, i wanna be a grinning idiot too!!! that didn't sound right hehehe  uber thanks for the screencaps atfm, i love 'em all and #5 is my definite fave. simple love it when she smiles, love it even more when her dimples show up i get all warm and fuzzy inside :D "Grinning Idiots" would be a cute title thread hehe, we should remember to put it up on the next one ;)

can i ask for the link too? i've been wanting to watch that interview but i dunno where i'd look for it :(

uhm, i have natural black hair that becomes brownish under the sunlight...and i'm already 24 but looks half my age. but no worries about my "angelic" mind, spoil it as you want hehehe

you should also consider selling cotton balls with ammonia (or whatever that liquid's called used to revive people who have fainted)...'cause there've been a lot of fainting and swooning spells going on around this thread hehe ;)

ahahaha, cute!! i can definitely see how she looked then a waddling Louise, to quote Mia, pure cuteness! :D

oh and i like the way you've described Sofia, fits her to a T...good luck btw on your exams!!

i think i'd go with sappy movies, i see Sofia as a hopeless romantic, i dunno why ehehe :D

Mulholland Drive was cool. What about horror movies? Do you think she'd be scared? Probably not. She'd see right through it and know who the killer is right away. ;)

    Not my fault.

I love them (yes, I'm a geek), but I don't think Sofia would, that was a joke. ;)

*checks* Yes. ;) Nah, I don't think so either. That was just my mind going there at Mia's comment.

What about a comedy? Something to get her mind off all the death and violence she sees.

Anyway, here's another topic, how long are we going to have to wait before they give Sofia an official profile? Seriously, she’s not even up on the cast list on the official website. Everybody else has a background, why can’t Sofia.

Of course, there are certain benefits at not knowing a lot about her, like you can take certain liberties when writing fan fictions, like explaining that damn “speech impediment” away, and it makes slash a lot easier too. Do the people here read fanfic? We are all obsessive enough to spend our time on this forum.

kelloggs - If anyone faints, I'll just stick a toothpick deep into their flesh. We have plenty of those around here anyway. Why waste? ;) Does your nick come from the cereal brand btw? Im obsessed with people's nicks.

Drumchik - Romantic movies...she might watch them. I dont think she's a romantic (believe in love at first sight or all those lovey-dovey stuff) but Im sure she's watched Youve Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle more than a dozen times. Which girl hasnt? Own up!

atfm - I think the second a teenage horror flick comes on the tele, she'd grab her gun and shoot her tv to bits. Scream, Halloween, etc, she'd know who the killer is the second it begins. :p Just checking about the girl thing. Dont want to mistake you or anyone for a boy. :) Why arent there any boys here anyway? I find it interesting that GIRLS worship Sofia but not GUYS. Are they afraid of us?

88Blackbirds – Memento definitely! It's a very clever psychological thriller that boggles with your mind and Im sure she finds these movies fascinating. Jorja is another reason why she'd like that movie. Lesbianism...I think shed watch Imagine Me & You. I watched it and I liked it, although I found it a bit farfetched. Other movies of that genre Im not sure, but I believe she has an open mind and she'd watch those. Your other question about her profile -- we might have to wait maybe about 2 years for that to happen, one year if TPTB can be bothered. But even if they create her a profile, theyre gonna screw it up. They screwed up Sara's profile and twisted some of her facts. *SCREAMS*

I read fanfics. I love reading them but unfortunately Im a terrible writer. But so far I haven't found much Sofia fics. Where can I find them? The good thing about fics is that we get to make what we want happen. On the show, what we dont want to happen is the first thing that will. Bleh.

Just wanted to pop over and say that Sofia is amazingly ace. Just watched the series six episode where that little girl confesses to murdering a girl in high school (she was a genius) and she looked totally stunning!

Hay, I just saw imaging me and you, I was a little worried about how it would turn out but it delivered in the end. Ok, I gotta stop getting off topic.

About the lack of guys, maybe a strong, independent and beautiful woman intimidates most men (not that I have a clue about men) ok, how about from now on, unless anybody says otherwise we just assume everybody in here is female, yep, that’ll save a lot of trouble.

Lets see, good fanfic sites …um, the only ones I know are slash, everything pretty much always ends up at Passion and Perfection, but every femslasher knows that one, theres also the Sassy livejournal at http://community.livejournal.com/sara_sofia/ (mediator people, I know this should go in the shipper thread, I’m stopping now) besides that I don’t think there’s any substantial amount of Sofia centric fics except for the odd one at Fanfiction.net.
