I think it's pretty easy as a fan to write great stories for the show. When you are really working as a screenwriter you don't have time to spend much attention to what people really want and you have to listen to the producers.
This is coming from experience btw <- bookwriter / screenwriter.

Love your stories also horatioandme Great job!

Heehee, this puts me in the mind of an Agatha Christie mystery, where someone is secretly bumping off the competition so one lady is left for H to go out with (Yelina) :lol:

Anyway, completely random comment there...sorry.

And yeah, I know what you mean about all the "will they/won't they" making good viewing. You know it has to end somewhere, one way or the other, and that's what keeps making you tune in, to find out more and where it might lead to closure. It's a nice tactic really, although perhaps frustrating for us H/Y fans It's rather like the tension between Inspector Tom Lynley and DS Havers in The Inspector Lynley Mysteries (British detective drama TV show).

why and CSI Miami writers can`t do something like this?! for sure they have lost theirs way after the end of S3. and if they want CSI M still to be one of the most popular tv-show one the earth one contact with the fans won`t make big damage. (i`m not talking only for H/Y shipp improvement) i know that these monster won`t say that have screws up S4, but at last have to change theirs approach - to the plot line and theirs loyal fans (i still can`t forgot one Ann D. interview where she say that don`t give a damn for the fans). i`m so sick and tired to watch only beautiful Miami wallpapers in this tv show without any sense. even Ann D. to have done so cool epi befor, now we need some fresh blood in CSI M team. and the most ease way for them is too look at the net for ours opinion (what we like or don`t like) - no need to announce publicly this if they are afraid that can be accepted like weak. after all we are the one who make this tv show to exist. (if no one watch it they won`t have money for doing it any more rigth ?!)

i`ll stop here, coz have promise to my self to not write negativ post. just this S4 and S5 are a lot to much then i can take.

and i agree with u ment_to_be that we have some Deja vu in S5 not only in Y white dress alos in some case and charatcers reaction. what is all this mean ?! that S5 is stick again and start to spin in vicious circle ... blah

:lol: wibble, I always enjoy such randomness! Also, I agree that the 'will they/won't they?' aspect to H/Y is a fascinating tactic and always watchable. The frustrating part is that we've had that for two and a half seasons and the storyarc needs development. It was then suspended for all of Season 4 and we almost feel like we're back at square one again. I just hope that the writers have something of substance up their sleeves.

Pusher, it is true that some fandoms get treated amazingly well by the writers and producers of shows. Off topic, but I have recently had the pleasure of discovering The Lost World and Battlestar Galactica (new version, 2003). I am quite simply amazed at how much respect TPTB of these shows have for the fans. They really care about what they think and go all out to satisfy them and communicate with them. TPTB of CSI:Miami could learn an awful lot from them, although I do respect Corey Miller for providing an e-mail outlet for us.

So I watched part of an ep today on A&E. It was about Ray and that cop guy killed himself at the end. Was Yelina in this one?

I bet the actress that plays Boa Vista don t want that to happen so if she ` s wise she begs produsers not to put her with Horatio

The 10-7 scene is so heart-breaking. both are fighting with tears (IMO Horatio too, this is why he put on the SOJ)
I had a bad day once and I watched the scene. I nearly cried (ok, delete the nearly, I don't like to admit such things).

Aw, thanks inge and iheartnickcath re my banner. I feel like I've had it forever! It is a constant reminder to me of why I liked CSI:M in the first place. It was the H/Y chemistry that made me want to keep watching. My DC crush wasn't quite enough.

Oh yes, there were definitely tears in H's eyes at the end of '10-7'.

we talk again for '10-7' epi ehhhh *sigh* maybe coz of this so heart-breaking end (the hug and H tears eyes) i was expect a lot much from epi 'Rio'. when i re watch this epi time ago notice that Y touch H cheek befor hug him...it was...uhh...so spontaneous and personal moment for them...this shipp really miss me and what about when H start walking with the plane...it was like : ' what i have done, i slip my love away....what a fool am i ...'

as someone here have say that we need to move one with H/Y relationship from will they/won`t they...mayeb one intimacy/close contact is the best way they to remeber what means (or miss) one to other like in this song:

Inge you were not the only one who cried. The first time I saw it I couldn't get out of the sofa. I just kept staring at the tv hoping they would say something like :" Just kidding! Of course H doesn't put her on a plane with his stupid brother."
A few minutes before it looked like they were going on holliday together! I was so happy and then, BAM : "you're not going?" Too much emotions in 5 minutes, ofcourse it brings you to tears!

Am I the only one who didn't cry? I knew she was coming back in Season 5 before I watched that episode, that possibly helped a lot. It is a touching moment and I do expected more from "Rio". But on the other side it's kind of understandable nothing more happened between them since Ray Sr just got murdered. Owh yes and Horatio was still sobbing for Marisol *shudders*
