favourite seaside places

seaside also known as place by the coast with beach arcades etc (for those who aint english).
tell us you favourite places by the sea/ seaside.
mine has to be great yarmouth in norfolk.
i adore the place and im going this weekend.
other favourites are southend in essex and newquay in cornwall.
lets us know, they dont have to be in england

 

Oh I love seaside places.. I've been to many in Ireland My ultimate favourite at the moment is Gleann Cholm Cille (County Donegal, Ireland). It has several beaches, (Tra Ban and Gleann Bay) and cute cottages and it has the Columbus Pelgrim Route.. since Saint Columbus was there many many centuries ago and it has all these stations that remind the pelgrims of him.. like a 'chair' and a well

 

Mine definetly is either Long Beach/Belmont Shores California or Huntington Beach California, I love the board walks and its close enough to Anahiem (plus I have relatives there which is always a added bonus)

they are my favorite so far,
Washingotn has some good beaches, but those are my favorites so far

 

I was once in Costa Maya, Mexico, during a cruise... I think it's the most beautiful place on earth! I spent about 3 hours just watching the sea and listening to a band playing music under one of the big palm tents... Magical!

Another wonderful place is Playa Del Carmen, also in Mexico. The water is soooooooo turquoise and so clear it's incredible!

 

My favorite is Galveston Island, off the coast of Texas (United States).

 

ooohhh, I've been there, and to South Padre Island way off the Coast of Texas. That is a nice beach. And GGgirl1 Mexico has nice beaches too, like in Ixtapa for example I loved that beach!

Agreed with pretty much all you just said! Canon Beach is hella windy.

 

fistral beach, newquay, england. without a doubt.

 

Myrtle Beach, it's the only seaside place I've been to so it's obviously my favorite.

 

I love the Seaside!!! I live in Georgia and I love to go to TYBEE ISLAND. My dream is to oneday live on the beach. I have visited HILTON HEAD ISLAND & MYRTLE BEACH in S.C. They are nice also.

 

I love Siesta Key, Florida. It's absolutely gorgeous. If I could live down there I definately would.

 

Hmm mine is in Yalikavak (near Bodrum), in Turkey. The bay is so beautiful, the water is so deep and I love the animals swimming in there.

 

thunder cove, prince edward island canada. Biggest waves we will ever see in pei, and they are tiny but the beach is beautiful.
