The Buffy Thread

I understand, I'll just forget the game. *game forgotten*

Who has all the seasons of Buffy? I have a couple seasons on DVD and the rest on video. On the DVDs, the commentaries on them are quite funny because they share all their amusing anecdotes. I'd have to say, any commentaries with Joss Whedon in them are funny!

 

By all means, a small game is fine. Just not in this thread please.

I have all 7 seasons on DVD....I really liked some of the commentaries in the last season where they talked about the show having come back full circle to the beginning. When they were in high school, it was Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Giles.........it was the four of them again when they were in the high school before the final battle. I thought that was cool.

And, Joss Whedon's comments are always great. I love having the DVD's, so I can go watch any episode I get in the mood to watch. I have been rewatching season two a lot lately.........probably my favorite season.

 

I love the Buffy/Angel interaction in season 2 (B/A shipper here) that is why it's my fave season.

 

Agreed CSIannalysse. I love the episode Passion from season two....eventhough it is when Angel lost his soul. I love how he sneaks into her room and leaves her those drawings, and talks about how passion rules us. Just some of Angels monologues in the beginning are incredible. I know, I know, it is a sad episode, too, but the whole thing is very well done. Definitely tops my list as a fav.

 

i know!!!! i love the overvoice, "passion, it lies in all off us, sleeping, waiting and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir, open its jaws and howl..." the whole thing is just amazing...love that episode...this thread makes me realize how much i miss buffy

 

I don't have any seasons on DVD, mostly because I'm so cheap :lol:

It would be a good investment, though. S4 is still my fave though.

 

Oh you must get the DVDs. It is a very good investment. The only thing I dislike about the commentaries and interviews is that SMG is noticably absent. Other than that, I love them.

 

Does SMG appear in any of the documentaries of any of the DVDs? I only have seasons 1, 2, 7 on DVD, the rest is on video.

 

I didn't get into the show until later, and therefore I am a big Spike fan. I just loved him

 

I'm not sure if I've watched all of them, but I don't think she appears on any of them, nor does she lend her voice to either of the video games (although the woman who does her voice sounds incredibly like her).

 

I just watched "Innocence" last night.

oh but he makes a brilliant bad guy. I for one love all the Angelus eps - David Boreanaz is *so funny* while still being so completely sinister and scary when he's being bad

 

I'll have to watch the next few eppies I suppose. I stopped after Innocence last night because it was 12:30 A.M. here
