Since it was brought up in the Cornwell thread, I made her one of her own.

I'm partway through Cross Bones right now, that's her most recent. Then I wait until July for Break No Bones. I love the Brennan/Ryan thing, it's so funny sometimes. Although if someone finds out...could be trouble.

Even though the books and series are very different, I enjoy them both. I really don't make a big deal of trying to meld them into a single universe though, they're too different.

I am reading Deja Dead and I just got it. However I have been watching Bones since it started. I just didn't know that the show was based on a book :) Silly me! Well I am really enjoying the book and Temperence kind of reminds me of me

    Here's the order

    Deja Dead
    Death Du Jour
    Deadly Decisions
    Fatal Voyage
    Grave Secrets
    Bare Bones
    Monday Mourning
    Cross Bones

Break no Bones is due out in July.

Bones:Buried Deep is the series novel.

I appreciate both the books and series even though the basis is obviously only a loose one and so much is different between the two.

BTW she's got a website, Kathy Reichs if you wanna look.

I was at the library today sadly, they didn't have Deja Dead.
When I start this series I going to read them all in order no exceptions.
Gotta find it after I finish the two books I was able to find.

Well, I got Deja Dead a couple days ago. Right now I'm part way through chapter three and am already addicted. I love the charcters and how the series is set in Montreal, I love that city.

I think the book is written in the past tense, with some conversation in French and the memoir part in English. Oh, and Quebic is technically bi-lingual, which means eveything is in French and English.

*snigger* Keep in mind, I know that about my own country, and it's spelt "Quebec" (pronounced: Key-beck)

I've got a question about Deja Dead. Right now I'm in the middle of chapter 6 and am wondering why is everoyne comparing the recent case of the woman found in her home to the other cases? It seems like the cases have nothing in common, could someone help me out with this without revealing any spoilers.

I'm almost done with Deja Dead and had a quick question. If you answer please don't give away any spoilers for the end of this book or anty other books.
Does Gabby's death have any repercusions in later books.

I don't think there are any big ones, no.

I'm happy, Break No BOnes is out now! I have to wait for it at the library but I'm anxious to read it.

I agree with Mel23, the spoiler you asked about may have been metioned in later books, but only in passing.

Break No Bones is on my read list for this weekend.

I suppose my old question is irrelivent now, because I kept reading and disproved my theory. Has anyone heard of Karin Slaughter, I was looking Kathy Reichs on amazon and her name came up as a similar author. I googled her name and the setting of her books is rural Georgia and the main character is the town pediatrician and coroner.
