I do the dishes by hand because I don't have a dishwasher. It is really not a big deal except around the holidays when
    there is more than normal.

I hand wash my dishes too. I don't mind till a holiday comes round. I'll stand at the sink for hours around Christmastime! And every year that's when we start thinking of investing in one.

I do it by hand. By the time it takes for me to figure out and load the dish washer I'd already have 'em done by hand. Plus, it takes more then once to have all the dishes down when I used the dishwasher.

We have a dishwasher, but I do my washing up by hand - I swear it's cleaner than using our dishwasher. Our dishwasher is pretty crap.

I use the dishwasher. I used to do it by hand, but I think it's easier to do it with the dishwasher.

Usually dishwasher because we have so damn lot dishes. Of course some stuff has to be washed by hand so I do that too.
    But "machine" was my answer.

Nope I don't. Well, I do act like a social worker to most of my friends though :p But no, not officially.

Good for you who do though :D

I haven't done any volunteer work. I actually never though about doing it either.

ive done quite a bit. in ontario, its mandatory that all high school students do 30 hours of community service in order to get their diploma. mandatory volunteering, little bit of an oxymoron there.
anyhoo, my friend and i got a really good one. we showed up on the wrong day for the haunted hayride, so instead of taking peoples tickets we were actually in it! we showed up at the dress rehersal and the guy asked 'are you my ghosts?' and we had no idea what we were doing. so we got to dress up as ghosts and scare the crap out of little children while the wagon was moving between scenes
at university i walk research dogs. and dont worry, theyre not having surgeries, theyre not being injected with weird drugs, they test out new dog food. i walk them every day and when i phone home i tell momma 'i found an other one i want to adopt!' but she wont let me have them :(
