CSI:Miami Actors: What Are They Up To?

Miami is probably the only substantial show these actors will have throughout their entire careers, so I'm not surprised that they haven't done much. I don't think they're complaining, though.

It sucks that I might not see many of these actors on tv again, but I guess they have made more money than I ever will. So they'll be fine.

This episode airs tonight (Tuesday, October 14th at 8pm ET/7pm CT), but I'm pretty sure it will be repeated. Check your local listings. :)

Khandi Alexander will appear on the PBS show Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr.. It's basically a show about genealogy. So, he helps people "find their roots". ;) In this case, he's helping some celebrities.

"Roots of Freedom" (Season 2, Episode 4)
Three guests whose families have long been engaged in the battle for freedom and civil rights but who had no idea that those principles were passed down through generations of ancestors; Ben Affleck's mother was a Freedom Rider in 1964 and her roots include the 19th century spiritualist Almon French, who attempted to heal the bereaved masses in the aftermath of the Civil War; Benjamin Jealous, former president of the NAACP, learns the heroic story of his great-grandfather, Peter G. Morgan, a free black man who was forced to purchase his own wife and family in order to keep them safe; and actress Khandi Alexander, who never knew who her grandfather was and learned that he may have been murdered in the Jim Crow South. All three guests discover they have patriot ancestors who fought valiantly for freedom in the American Revolution.

And another year goes by! I thought it would be a good time to update everyone on the projects that some of our favourite CSI:Miami actors have been up to lately according to IMDB.

David Caruso
It seems he hasn't had any acting projects since CSI:Miami ended.

Emily Procter
After a recurring role on White Collar, she appears to be filming 'Love Everlasting', due for release in 2016.

Adam Rodriguez
He's had quite a few projects since CSI:Miami ended, including a role in 'Magic Mike' and its sequel, 'The Night Shift', and more recently a TV movie called 'Runner'.

Jonathan Togo
After a recurring role on 'Covert Affairs' in 2013, Mr. Togo has been keeping busy over the last two years with two projects currently in post production: a short called 'A Hundred Eighty Degrees (2014)' and 'A Rising Tide (2015)'. He will also be a guest on the comedy 'Ex-Best (2015)'.

Eva LaRue
Interestingly enough, Eva will be on the 'Full House' sequel, 'Fuller House (2016)', according to IMDB. She has also finished filming a TV movie called 'Letter Never Sent (2015)'.

Honorable mentions:

Rex Linn has had steady work since Miami ended, appearing in a dozen or so projects which include 'Django Unchained', 'State of Affairs', 'Nashville', and more recently 'The Brink'.

Khandi Alexander has also been keeping busy on 'Scandal', and a series of projects still in production for 2015/16.

Rory Cochrane can be seen more recently in 'Argo', the horror movie 'Oculus', the movie 'Parkland', and 'Black Mass' starring Johnny Depp.
