Didn't really like this one that much

The case was just...meh

Can't even one of the characters be in a happy relationship or marriage?! :(

Sam Braun reference :)

Some nice Brass stuff

I don't mind Sean Yager. Actually I like having a CSI or two from another shift.

Not a lot of Sara or Greg, though they did film this and next episode and that same time

I felt like the team wasn't in on this one. Loved Brass, especially with old Vegas and new Vegas. When they mentioned Sam Braun, I thought about Red, miss her. 300 made the withdrawal symptoms come back. Loved the interaction between younger pawn owner and Brody. Got all misty when he walked through station.
Little concerned about last scene, not sure if I am reading into it too much. Maybe indicator about little arc about DB or possibly big arc about CSI itself.

It might be coincidental, but Yeager is like Jaeger, German for "hunter" or "huntsman". So my first guess was that he was likely going to "hunt for" or "chase after" Morgan  So much for new love interest.

I didn't like this one either, though Brass was just great! I missed the veterans, and Sara's single take wasn't enough.

I didn't get this issue with dayshift and graveshift. How long do they have to work? Was Morgan up for more than 10 hours (but looking freshly made-up)? And are they switching shifts when cases collide or when they cooperate?

Wow this was a bad episode.
I tried paying close attention.
The show made no sense.
The mom was the hit man, rainman for a son.
The robber runs $200 to 300k and we have to believe it was just luck.

Was there a trick to the blackjack or was it just luck?
Made no sense.

I now understand how people bailed on this show. The writing was terrible last night.

I was very happy with Brass episode, he clearly is looking for a way out threw death. Sam Brawn was a welcome reminder. But this was bad writing.

I didn't watch so can't really comment! (I pay little enough attention when George Eads is there, I'd never survive the hour with him gone. :( )

No OT. Morgan was a couple hours late for her shift because she had an appointment she couldn't reschedule.

The case was kinda 'meh' for me, I didn't really care for it.

Sorry, two seasons ago I would never think or say this, but why is Morgan on CSI? she's just..... not a part of the team anymore. She has no chemistry with anyone, no platonic connections whatsoever (except with her dad and maybe Hodges), and I felt like the writers were estranging her from the team even more with this new romantic storyline they're throwing at us; this Sean Yeager, was ok, and I don't mind night shift working with other shift members, but I'm getting sick of Morgan's love life all together, and are they even trying to integrate her into the team anymore??

I'm also sick of D.B.'s family drama, but I'll admit, I did feel bad for him, I wish he could just stay happily married :(.

It seems to me that they're planning exits for more than a character: Nick, Brass, Hodges, Russell....that doesn't mean all these exits will happen, they're just keeping doors open.

I didn't really watch the episode. I was too busy filling out my post New York Comic Con survey and that took up much of my time

I'm just not really into the show anymore. I may check out next week's episode but I don't know

Thanks for sharing, but I still don't get that. It was 8 a.m., Yeager said Morgan's shift ended 2 hours earlier, i.e. 6 a.m. How can you be "a couple hours late" for your shift if your shift starts at 10 p.m. the previous evening? What appointment is set so late? Or did she just miss the beginning of her shift and had to add another 2 hours and more so that she could get her 8 - 10 hours work day filled? It could have been useful to explain that in the ep. Meh.

I wonder how many CSI episodes must I expect to see when a murder (or murders) is (are) gambling-related, especially this season. Again, a victim is either stabbed or shot. I would love to see a murder or an impalement on top of the Golden Nugget sign, or on top of the Vegas "Eiffel Tower" or the Stratosphere Las Vegas. The whole gambling-related murders and victims being shot or stabbed had been getting old for me.

I thought that Morgan would learn a thing or two about lipstick containing formaldehyde that, I think, Hodges told her about, unless she can find non-formaldehyde lipstick in different colors to complement her skin tone episode after episode. In this one, it looks like she's got the entire Revlon factory transferred from her purse onto her face. Are half of the crew members from the CSI: Miami crew? With this Yager dude, the show is looking more like a surfer-looking, Sweet Valley High type of show where everyone and their dog has blonde hair and orange tans even for a graveyard shift.

As for CSI: Miami, I can't really count just how many gangs they have (the Zetas, the Mala Noche), now I heard a Mala Noche mention here.

Sorry, I can't really watch the Pawn Shop scene at the near end. Aside from looking all pissed off and accusatory, it looks as if Morgan is struggling hard not to toss her hair left and right without her hands. It's like seeing a bad scene from some cheesy 1980s post-Apocalyptic B-movie. The Yager dude didn't look bad at that scene, but still.

If the writers weren't having such a hard-on for Miss Harnois/Morgan, the episodes would have more original ideas and the original cast members would be more centralized to the show, as a team like in the old days. This gets a D.

A Morgan focused episode...oh my! the girl should get a life. and a boyfriend: a guy who lives at the Galapagos. She loves him madly, so she must goooo, among the turtles.
Of course, we get only ONE case, because, you know, LV is a safer place today (and yes, it’s rainy!). Ad we get a static, boring, slow show. Opening scene ad title aside, we get three scenes in the first 9 minutes...Morgan-Yeager-DB, Morgan-Yeager-David (in the same location), DB-Barbara. This is a Kammerspiel rhythm!...if you stuff the show with guest stars, you must give them some space and time. they need to act. so, it’s all about bla bla bla...sigh!
Great Brass. The second scene with Delgado tells us that he doesn’t care of his life anymore. i fear he could get another bullet; and this time could be the end for him.
the awful writings aren’t the source of the problem; they are a consequence. it’s a matter of choices, structure, saving money and...guest stars!
