Good numbers again last night. 10.36 million viewers and a 1.5 in the demo.

That good right?? I hope CBS see this and gives CSI NY a 10th and final season if they do??

Not good for CSI NY, I really want a 10th season (and final one) but the series is still in danger

 

You also have to remember over 700,000 plus in the northeast are sitting in the dark due to a very nasty storm. Personally I hope that they give us a S10 and let CSI: NY go out on their own terms. I think they owe the franchise that much.

 

CSI Miami had 10 seasons, I hope CBS will give NY 10 season as well

 

They haven't made it to 200 episodes yet, due to TPTB deciding this show needed a shortened season. Both Vegas & Miami made it to this magic number, so why can't CSI: NY?

 

This week went down again grrr.

 

Well, everything was down across the boards so...

The ratings just kinda get me nervous because I think we've only one the demo maybe once or twice.

 

I don't think CBS ever has been really good to the show. When it was on Wednesdays, it was against Lost, which was naturally going to dominate in the ratings, and Fridays are bad nights for TV all around, yet they move it there. Plus, they rarely advertise...the ads I see most often are those five second spots with stock shots of the two leads that just say what time it's on. Ep promos are very rarely.

What does the number separated by the slash mean? The 4s and 5s? I'm not entirely familar with it.

Why do we think some of the earlier viewers left? It had to be more popular before, or it would have been gone seasons ago. Was it the time slot shift, which hurts every show saddled with it? Or viewers not liking Melina leaving?

 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the show's not being able to pull better than a 1.2 in the demo for the finale is the final nail in its coffin.

 

We still cant say that for sure yet.

 

I think maybe the time change from 9 to 8 then from 8 to 9. Maybe changing the day hurt as well? Then not many promos running during the year and how many reruns did we get?

How many reruns did Vegas get? I bet Vegas got more reruns than we did.
