Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ Thanks for the video albeit I can't view it from my dumbphone
The season 10 DVD cover art for Miami has the entire team on it. I like this much better than the lone Horatio covers that we have gotten. Ryan looks great of course.
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ I just saw it on Google. It also says, "The Final Season". Agreed though, the cover is good.
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ WOW good that I came here now. Almost forgot that Miami will start in 15 mins Haven't seen cover yet but will take a peek later. Oh, btw, before I forget, does anyone knows approximate amount of time that passed from WISC (you know that 7.20 episode) till season 7 finale, and from s7 finale till s8 beginning (say somewhere episode 3)? I'm writing new Miami fic on request about following events after WISC but yet can't get Miami timelines (all this time I assumed each season as a year, now I'm not sure...)
Just saw the cover art... had to hold back tears since I'm at work... In other news, my Identical DVD is being shipped to my house as I type... =)...
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ I know how you feel. The cover art is great but seeing the words "The Final Season" was sad. I'm expecting my Identical DVD too!
I am waiting on my purchase until someone reviews the movie. I am aware of the cursing; however, can someone let me know if there are other R-rated scenes I need to be aware of and where they occur. Thanks!
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ Thank you so much for posting this - Jonathan Togo first thing in the morning (I read it before work at 7.00 am today) saying he was embarrasssed to be interviewed on a Segway! Set me up for the rest of the day. No need to be embarrassed, Jon, great legs!!!!
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ I read the book. (Well, I sort of read the book. I found out I could download the PDF of the book for free last night, and so I downloaded it and read it) In the book there are some very intense scenes involving, well...making love. But I'm not sure how this translates into the movie. There's also brief mention of child abuse. But other than that, probably nothing more intense than you'd see on an episode of CSI: Miami. But that was just from the book, so I'm not sure about the movie...
That's exactly what I want to know before purchasing the movie. Are there any graphic sex scenes? As much as I love Jonathan, I don't want to see his private parts.
Got my dvd and watched it last night. Loved it for the most part. No heavy graphic scenes, but there is partial nudity (Emily's bare back before they start going at it.) I was disappointed Daniel took out some parts of the story, but that comes with all movies. I'll post more later!
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ That's good. That's really good. Based on the book, I wasn't really sure. Maybe I'll buy the movie now
Re: Ryan/Jon #31 - Takes a Lickin’ and Keeps on Tickin’ I just found out that the actress playing Jon's love interest in "Identical" was the same actress who guest-starred as Cynthia Lang in "Wolfe In Sheep's Clothing". Haha. I feel dumb that it took me this long to make that connection :guffaw:
