Do anybody got a preview for next weeks? Because the news people show after the picture goes dark. I Know George Eads is not going to be on next week because of his father died. Jorja is not on either and don't ask me why.

That was quite good episode, but that bugs me that we don't see others hanging out with the FBI guys to investigating that case, I would love to see how Sara and others deals with that, this one so reminds me of Strip Strangler in some way. YAY! for Catherine to save this cute fbi guy's ass by tackle him down during that shooting going on. Yeah I can see how Catherine was scared and out of her wits's end to stay alive for herself to be there for her daughter Lindsey, after she shot that shooter. As for Catherine's house it was nice to see, from what I saw the decors around the house looks so cool and its very mix of Traditional and Contemporary furnitures around the place. I like it.

Its been so long time since I used to watch Melrose Place and X-files, every episodes of it, it was great to see Grant Show and Annabeth Gish again after their shows ended its broadcasting on tv few years ago.

As the season goes by, Catherine is finding more reasons to reevaluate things happening in her life. Earlier this season, we saw how disappointed she was (is) with the demotion. Then the show had these scenes where she was kind of jealous with DB's ability to balance his personal and professional life. Then the sheriff recommended her for a job in DC. Now looks like she has two more reasons. It looked like she really misses her daughter, that she never had enough time spent with her. And of course, she almost got zippered by two gunmen, that she has a quite dangerous job.

I'm really liking how the writers are handling her exit strategy. I can't say I'm excited but I'm really looking forward how this story wraps up. I'll miss Catherine.

This was a great episode, really enjoyed it.

    Brass' sunglasses were...interesting ;)

I thought they were going to stick with the cliche of local law enforcement and FBI not getting along but they were both likeable characters. I especially thought Pratt was going to be 'in your face' arrogant but he showed a lot of humility and worked well with DB.

Hodges scene with Morgan was great and his reasoning that he couldn't be wrong as it was him - as though that's all the justification he needs

The 'frayed knot' joke was perfectly played as well, had me shaking my head chuckling which CSI hasn't really made me do in the last few seasons.

Hate to say it but i also really liked the way Grant Show portrayed Agent McQuaid, he and Catherine had great chemistry and if they do end up together at least he's not a jerk.

Hope we see more of Laura in future eps - which brings me to...How nice is Catherine house! although i guess with the casino she can afford it.

Looking forward to how this storyline will play out, hopefully worth the wait and will do Catherine's character justice.

Really liked this one, which was a pleasant surprise because I felt a little 'meh' towards it initially from the promos but it was actually pretty damn good.

I especially liked how the case focused on the stolen guns instead of the murder, it was different and it was done well. Hodges/Morgan were hilarious tonight. Xiomara had some good scenes as well, it's good to see her getting involved more.

Marg really stole the show tonight though, we got to see Catherine out of work, Catherine angry and Catherine in danger and she pulled it off perfectly! I'm so glad they're not going down the 'burn out' route and I really hope she gets a happy ending. The FBI guys were likeable as well, both of them were well cast and it'll be interesting to see them back again. Same goes for Laura and the 'baddie.'

There were also some great lines tonight:

"Oh don't be sorry, just be wrong."

"I'm sorry this is Catherine, and Catherine was me before I was."

"Somebody spilt ink all over my Pakistani crime report."

"By whatnot you mean saving your ass."

Two very minor things to pick up on:

We had a return to the hideous CGI we last saw in CSI Down during the vultures section. Ewww...

A new rule to the CSI Drinking game, two fingers every time Catherine says "if you're in the market for a..." Twice this episode and once earlier on, Pokaksi really loves that line. :p

Overall, I'm giving it a B+. Would have been an A if we'd seen a bit more of the other characters but hopefully we'll get a bit more of them a little later. Looking forward to next week's Doc-centred episodes, the promo makes it look promising. Plus, it's written by Elizabeth Devine so if it's anything like "Lost and Found" was it'll be spectacular. :)

I liked this episode. Since this is the opening setup for Cath/Marg's exit, I went in with a bit of caution. So far I'm liking it. And I'm impressed with how they handled the FBI in this ep. Most times, the Feds are presented as jerks, but here they were more fleshed out. I particularly enjoyed Cath's future ex-beau. He had a "I'm getting to old for this shit" kind of attitude. It was refreshing seeing that from a Fed in this kind of show. Made him likable. The younger one was funny too, especially how DB seemed to unnerve him a bit. Heh.

Not much screen time for the others, but that was expected so no big deal. I really like Xiomara. Her and the new sheriff are some of my favorite new characters introduced this season.

Very interested to see where it goes with the evil-husband-guy. (I'm bad with names at moment.) And as for the case itself, I liked it. Big Ass Guns and friendly Feds, not bad. :)

I thought it was interesting that Grant Show's character never mentioned what his new job would be- just said it would be "more dangerous". Something tells me he'll be in Washington. ;)

Great episode. Once again I enjoyed the case and all the scenes with D.B. Russell. I really like how they are handling Catherine's upcoming exit. I have to give this one an A.

Not a bad episode. I think that I was halfway asleep with the scene where some young perp shot his foot during, I think, a robbery. That is some heck of a gun. I like seeing Sara and Catherine working together. I don't remember the last time they worked together before this. And with Catherine seemingly using pink dust was reminiscent to her questioning Sara using pink dust while processing that rural store in a very early episode. I sure am gonna miss seeing them work together. And it's been ages since I've heard Sara's sentences-endings with long vowel soouuunnds.

And nice writing on Hodges' part saying, "Frayed not" instead of "afraid not".

And Catherine's house is awesome! I think it's the same house in Weeping Willows, which has a nice, sweet exterior. Or it could be her mother's (I think it was her mom in that episode). Either way, her house rocked in this new episode.

I am looking forward to seeing her last episode ever. Hopefully, her exit is written well.

Hi all, this is my first post to these forums. Came across them by random chance and this episode annoyed me like no other CSI episode has in a long time.

Start to finish they treat the P90 as if it's a god-like prototype weapon with magical bullets. The only aspect of the P90 that makes it completely illegal in the US is none existed prior to the 1986 automatic weapons ban, since it was first produced in 1990 and used in the Gulf War in 1991. While the P90 is military only, there are at least 2 civilian legal firearms that use the same caliber rounds: the Five-Seven pistol and the PS90 semi-automatic version of the rifle. The latter is illegal in states like California because it has a pistol grip. The former is the same gun used in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, so while LVMPD may not be allowed to carry any firearms that are 5.7mm (due to FN Herstal not being on the real LVMPD's qualifications list), most law enforcement officers in the US are going to know it exists and exactly what it is. The rounds needed for either or any model are certainly not illegal in the US. You could likely go to your closest Wal-Mart and pick up a box of ammo if they aren't sold out of it.

The climax scene has the rifle turning a semi trailer into swiss cheese (using far more than the 50 rounds the gun holds) only to hit nothing. Then Catherine is able to drop the guy with 3 perfect shots from her much more modest side arm? Bleh. It made for a great action scene with lots of creativity but it's over the top unbelievable.

Ok, lil rant over. Basically their research team dropped the ball on this episode imo.

The first thing I thought when they talked about that ammunition being "super rare" was.. darn. I sure wish I could buy that ammunition in bulk at Cabela's.
